He got involved in the murder of his father, John, as he pushed Sarah to hire a secret assassin team who committed the treacherous act earlier. Does Jamie Die in Yellowstone?
After Kayce proved that his father was murdered, the whole world’s attention moved towards the Market Equities. Since Jamie was romantically involved with Sarah Atwood, he began to draw the heat as well. During the events of season 5, Jamie has always relied on Sarah when it came to making a decision. But now that she had been killed off in the story, Jamie had to resort back to his ex-girlfriend Christina.
Fortunately, Christina agreed to talk with him at home. When Jamie left his car to enter the home, you could hear a faint train whistle blowing noise in the distance. Even the subtitles indicated the sound so that we don’t miss out on this little yet vital detail. If you have been a long-time Yellowstone fan, you must already know what’s does the “Train Station” mean in the show. It’s where Dutton and his gang execute their enemies.
Jamie wrote his own downfall when he became complicit in his own father’s assassination. Now, this scene where the train whistle blew is believed to be a foreshadowing of Jamie’s death in the upcoming final episode of season 5. Fans are speculating that he will be taken to the train station either by Kayce or Beth and get executed for his actions.
Earlier in this episode, Jamie confronted his sister Beth and threatened to expose the family’s deep secrets. While Christina asked him to reinforce his father’s ideals in a press meet, Jamie could very well lean the other way to uncover the darkest confidential matters of the Dutton Family. So, the remnants of the Dutton family might be pushed to execute their brother Jamie in the most-anticipated finale of Yellowstone Season 5.
I have always believed Jamie will get his redemption in the show for a long time. But the way his character’s arc is progressing, it seems like the creators made up their minds about him being the final villain of the Dutton family. Some fans think the Attorney General is getting his deserved exit in the show and others believe his character was executed so poorly in the end. What do you think about Jamie’s death in Yellowstone?
