Severance Season 2 has finally concluded and as anticipated, it has once again landed us in the clutches of a major cliffhanger. Even though the one we got with the final of Season 2 is not as massive as the one we got with the conclusion of Severance Season 1, there is still a lot to unfold in the story. Is Severance Season 3 Confirmed?
Now, if you are worried that Severance Season 3 might not get greenlit or potentially face a delay, let me tell you that there is nothing to be worried about. In January 2025, Ben Stiller himself said that Severance Season 3 has been confirmed and is already in the works. In his interview with Collider, Stiller said that the story they have in mind for Severance is not even close to reaching its conclusion and might even move beyond a third season.
Is There a Release Date For Severance Season 3?
Severance Season 3 has not received an official release date yet. However, considering that it took three years for Season 2 to be released, it might be a while before we receive any news regarding the release date of Severance Season 3.
On the other hand, since Ben Stiller has confirmed that season 3 is already in the works, there is a chance that the wait this time might be shorter but since the production has not started yet, we cannot say anything with absolute certainty.
What Could Be the Plot of Severance Season 3?
Now this is tricky to get hold of, considering that the plot of Severance tends to take sharp twists and turns, it is difficult to pinpoint exactly what we might get to see with Severance Season 3. Moreover, now that Mark’s innie has technically trapped him inside of Lumon, and Gemma has made it out, there is a chance that the narrative will shift to Gemma’s point of view where she, along with Cobel and Devon will try to get Mark out of the severed floor.
