Warriors win thriller behind Steph Curry's heroic 3 against Phoenix Suns

SAN FRANCISCO — The catastrophe-prone Warriors got everything right in a thrilling 113-112 win against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

Steph Curry’s go-ahead 3-pointer .7 seconds before the final buzzer gave the Suns just enough time to get a shot off — a situation the Warriors have lost several times this year. But Andrew Wiggins’ foul on Devin Booker did not result in free throws and Draymond Green disrupted the ensuing inbound play to Kevin Durant to seal the win.

The Warriors have won four in a row and five of their last six games, moving up to the 10th seed in the Western Conference.

Golden State did it behind some strong defense with Gary Payton II back in the fold, Green and wings Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga keeping Phoenix’s potent Big Three of Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker from breaking free.
