  • Expert Business Consultant Jean Hardy Helps Business Owners Achieve Financial Freedom – The US Times

The business environment is always changing, and successful business owners recognize this and adapt accordingly. If you want to see how a great businessman can keep one step ahead of the competition, look no further than Jean Hardy. Jean is a respected business expert and role model after ten successful years in the field.

We recently had the opportunity to interview Jean and learn more about his business background and his advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Q: Can you tell us about your journey and what sets you apart from others in your field?

Jean Hardy: My journey has been quite unique. I started my career as a carpenter, but soon realized that the money wasn’t enough. I switched to sales and became very good at it. While working in Telecom in Vancouver, I discovered my true talent – sales. Five other guys and I made $2.69 million in sales, which was a huge accomplishment for me at that time. Despite my strong sales skills, I soon found myself broke and homeless with my wife and three kids, a result of being surrounded by the wrong people. It was a difficult time, but with my wife’s help, I managed to bounce back and start my own business.

Q: What kind of business do you run, and how do you help your clients?

Jean Hardy: I am a consultant and coach who helps business owners who sell services to scale their companies. I do this by coaching them on mindset, marketing, sales, and setting up systems and processes. I believe that there are three critical components to a successful business – Avatar and offer, which includes marketing, sales and product, systems and processes, and leadership and culture. By focusing on these areas, I help my clients grow their businesses and achieve their goals.

Q: What motivated you to start your own business, and how did you get into this industry?

Jean Hardy: I have always had a passion for helping people succeed. I believe that God put me on this earth to help others, and I am grateful for the opportunity to do so. When I was homeless with my family, I realized that I needed to recreate the highs I had achieved before. With the help of a friend who loaned me $5,000, I started my own business. Since then, I have been helping others achieve their goals and overcome their challenges.

Q: What do you think are the biggest challenges when starting a business, and how do you help your clients overcome them?

Jean Hardy: Money is easy to make, but mindset is the hardest thing for people. I believe that mindset is the most critical factor in starting and running a successful business. I help my clients overcome mindset challenges by coaching them on how to change their stories and beliefs. By reframing their mindset and shifting their perspective, my clients are able to overcome their limiting beliefs and achieve their goals.

Q: What does success mean to you, and what are your next projects?

Jean Hardy: Success to me means exchanging the value I bring to my clients for money. While financial success is important, it’s not everything. I also value my relationship with God and my health. My next projects include a powerful course that combines mindset and business principles to help people achieve massive profits. I am also working on my mastermind group, where I help people with their mindset and scaling their businesses.

Q: Can you share with us the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome so far?

Jean Hardy: Being homeless with my wife and three kids was definitely the biggest obstacle I’ve had to overcome. It was a difficult time, but it taught me the importance of mindset and resilience. It also inspired me to start my own business and help others overcome their challenges.

The success of Jean Hardy’s company should serve as a model for ambitious business owners everywhere. His road has been difficult but ultimately fruitful, and his dedication to the success of others is inspiring. UK/France Trip To Israel: A “mise en scene”?

This visit is characterized as a diplomatic mission aimed at bolstering Israel’s narrative to avert a full-scale conflict with Iran and Hezbollah

    21WIRE

TNT Radio guest host Basil Valentine speaks with co-host of Palestine Declassified Press TV professor David Miller, to discuss the connection between British universities and the International Arms Trade, while also examining the enduring impacts of the latest generation of weaponry.

Additionally, the conversation highlights the recent visit of UK Labour Party Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs David Lammy and his French counterpart, Stephane Sejourne, to Israel.

This visit is characterized as a diplomatic mission aimed at bolstering Israel’s narrative to avert a full-scale conflict with Iran and Hezbollah, rather than an initiative to persuade Prime Minister Netanyahu of the necessity to establish a ceasefire with Hamas, a group that appears to be largely ignored by west.

  • Virginia man arrested after the remains of his missing wife are allegedly found under concrete slab

AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (TCN) — A 37-year-old man is in custody after authorities found the suspected remains of his 45-year-old missing wife last week.

On the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 14, the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a property on Pendleton Drive, where they discovered human remains. Investigators believe the victim to be Elsie Wiggington, who was reported missing over a year ago, on June 26, 2023. The sheriff’s office is awaiting confirmation of a positive identification from the medical examiner.

Family members told WSET-TV that Elsie Wiggington’s remains were found under a concrete slab on the property where she had lived with her husband, Frederick Wiggington. Relatives reportedly said the victim feared for her life and was planning to go to Maryland before officials found her body.

Three days before her disappearance, Elsie Wiggington allegedly messaged her foster sister and said, “He’s going to kill me,” WSLS-TV reports. That was the last time the victim’s foster sister heard from her.

Authorities found Frederick Wiggington in Augusta County and took him into custody on an initial charge of concealment of a dead body. However, records show he is also being held in the Amherst County Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder and assault.

  • Fact Check: Ask PolitiFact: Are Democrats offering ‘free abortions and vasectomies’ at their Chicago convention?

Reproductive rights took center stage during the Democratic National Convention’s first night in Chicago. But is the DNC offering free abortions and vasectomies to attendees, as some conservative social media users have claimed?

RNC Research, an X account run by the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee, posted Aug. 18, “Democrats are giving out ‘free abortions and vasectomies’ at their convention.”

Other users made similar claims on X.

A Planned Parenthood branch is providing free medication abortion, vasectomies and emergency contraception through a mobile health clinic in Chicago that’s running at the same time as the DNC. But the convention is not sponsoring or otherwise connected to these services.

Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, which is based in the St. Louis region, said Aug. 14 on X and Aug. 19 in a press release that its mobile health unit would be stationed Aug. 19 and 20 in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Planned Parenthood Great Rivers said Aug. 17 that all of its appointment spots had been filled.

The DNC is not being held in the West Loop. The event’s nighttime programming and speeches are at the United Center, a few blocks east of the West Loop. Daytime events are at the McCormick Place Convention Center, a few miles south of the West Loop, according to the DNC’s website.

The DNC’s website does not list Planned Parenthood as a partner, sponsor or vendor for the event, nor does it mention this mobile health clinic.

Planned Parenthood Great Rivers’ press release lists the Chicago Abortion Fund, a nonprofit group, and the Wieners Circle, a food vendor, as partners. It does not mention the DNC.

“Meeting patients where they are by offering the mobile clinic’s services in busy areas is yet another continuation of Planned Parenthood’s unending efforts to improve accessibility and expand services for Illinois residents,” the release said, adding that the mobile clinic would also address “the influx of patients” going to Illinois for care as surrounding states restricted reproductive care.

  • Biden’s Final Indignity: ‘Angry Old Man’ Demoted To Midnight Speech At DNC | The Liberty Beacon

Biden’s Final Indignity: ‘Angry Old Man’ Demoted To Midnight Speech At DNC

(TYLER DURDEN REPORTS) – Day one of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) kicked off with excitement as delegates and attendees listened to speeches from major lawmakers and leaders from the Democratic Party.

Amid embittered remarks from Hillary Clinton, protesters gathered outside the perimeter of the United Center to demonstrate against the Biden-Harris administration’s military support for Israel during the Israel–Hamas war.

But all eyes were really on the last speaker of the night – the outgoing president – who spoke late, very late (well past his prescribed bedtime) in a speech that attempted to revive Dark Brandon but just sounded like an angry old man yelling at the moon (of lies he has conjured in his mind about the ‘others’).

Prior to Biden’s speech at the convention, Harris made a surprise appearance on the convention stage on Monday night to honor Biden.

“Joe, thank you for your historic leadership, for your lifetime of service to our nation and for all you will continue to do. We are forever grateful to you,” she said in brief remarks.

    As LibertyNation’s Tim Donner wrote:

Since Joe Biden was willing to accept the humiliation of being forced out of his campaign for reelection, perhaps it follows that he would be amenable to accepting the final indignity of delivering his farewell address at his party’s convention on a night usually reserved for second- and third-tier speakers.

Indeed, the unconventional decision to have the sitting president speak on the first night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC)  – as opposed to either not speaking at all or being placed in a prominent slot on a succeeding night – was undoubtedly the product of a tortured compromise.

To add to the indignity, the DNC ran so far behind schedule on its opening night that the president did not even appear until 36 minutes after his scheduled start time of 10:50 pm ET, which by itself was something of an insult, and led some to question if the delay was deliberate, or effectively an attempt to drive Biden out of view to the primetime audience.

Making the sitting president of the United States wait until after 11:30 P.M. Eastern – well after prime time – to give the final big speech after 52 years in public office was the final signal that they were done and dusted with old Joe.

“This is awful. He literally set up a campaign and handed it over to them — do they have to cut him out of prime time?” one longtime Biden aide texted Axios reporter Alex Thompson.

“The media is very East Coast focused though, you’ve gotta be pretty naive to think the prolonged DNC tonight is for any reason other than diminishing Biden’s visibility, Silver tweeted.

Joe received the required ovation, and as PJMedia’s Victoria Taft details below, the party’s cheerleaders held signs reading “We (heart) Joe.”

The crowd chanted “We love Joe!” but nothing can quite make up for how Biden was treated by his party in the days leading up to night one of the Chicago convention.

An angry looking and glassy-eyed Joe gave nothing more than a typical stump speech to the crowd with check list State of the Union overtones.

Joe attempted to summon Dark Brandon, but just looked like an angry old man.

And then came the whoppers. [Not from Burger King]

Biden lied about his reason getting into the 2020 race, claiming Donald Trump embraced neo-Nazis.

Obviously, that “nice people on both sides” trope has been obliterated by simply looking at the record, but Joe doesn’t care.

Ironically, Biden gave everyone a spit-take moment when he later said that “both sides” of the Gaza war protests, including pro-Hamas—literal pro-Nazi– protesters outside the convention hall, “have a point.”

    You can’t make this up.

The president told the crowd that Donald Trump scuttled a border deal that would have legalized all the people Biden allowed into the country.

Even his own crowd wasn’t buying it.

He claimed billionaires pay fewer taxes than most taxpayers.

    Embarrassing.

The man who tyrannically used COVID emergency powers to keep America shut down and businesses on ventilators claimed he stood for “freedom, democracy, and America.”

“Democracy must be preserved!” thundered glassy-eyed Joe to a crowd that was looking for a little inspiration.

Joe bungled a few lines of the speech when he lost his way on the teleprompter, and at one point the crowd guffawed at the bumbling.

Toward the end of his speech, a meandering President Sundowning began slurring and rushing his sentences and then told the biggest whopper of the night:

“And all this talk about how I’m angry at all those people that said I should step down—that’s not true.”

    We “believe” you, angry guy.

He told the dwindling and less enthusiastic hangers on in the room that he had given the country his best. Was anyone listening?

Joe got around to talking nicely about Kamala Harris and America after midnight Eastern time. And that’s not hyperbole! Not a joke. I give you my word as a Biden.

Reflecting on the farce that was last night, LibertyNation’s Tim Donner concludes, like the outsized stakes of this election itself, the outcome will be either a triumph or catastrophe for Joe Biden.

If Harris wins, it will affirm his presidency and his legacy as the man who saved the country from Trump.

But if Trump wins, Biden will forever be blamed for seeing the handwriting of his demise on the wall and stubbornly refusing to step aside until it was too late, ultimately handing the country back to the 45th president.

In a career marked by sustained power but constant disappointments –  two badly failed presidential campaigns, an unserious image, and rejection by Barack Obama in 2016 in favor of Hillary Clinton – the end is nigh for Joe Biden. He cashed in on extraordinary circumstances to finally reach the promised land, only to be betrayed by the irreversible indignity of his own cognitive decline. His half-century as the quintessential Washington insider was marked by bookends of success and failure, centrism and progressivism, and, in the end, youth and age.

“For the longest time, I was too damn young because I only was 29 when I got elected,” Biden playfully lamented at a recent rally for his VP in Maryland. “Now I’m too damn old.”

Was last night setting the scene for the ‘October Surprise’ we hinted at?

  • Ga. man arrested for allegedly beating, sexually assaulting woman and leaving her to die

ALBANY, Ga. (TCN) — A 63-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including murder, for allegedly raping and beating a woman, causing her to go on life support and later die.

According to the Albany Police Department, on Aug. 10, an off-duty officer found the victim, Melissa Law, unconscious on the 900 block of South Jefferson Street. An ambulance transported her to a nearby hospital, where doctors determined she had been sexually assaulted. Detectives identified her suspected attacker as Johnnie Jones and brought him into custody.

Police initially arrested Jones for aggravated battery and rape.

Law died Aug. 18 when she was taken off life support, which resulted in upgraded charges against Jones. He is now being charged with aggravated assault, murder, aggravated sodomy, and aggravated stalking. He is still facing the other two counts of battery and rape.

WALB-TV reports Law and Jones had a previous relationship and he had allegedly been violent in the past.

Law’s sister, Jessica Cloud, told WALB, “It’s a nightmare. When I close my eyes, that’s all I see. He didn’t have to leave my sister there to die. You didn’t have to do anything to her. Why did you kill my sister? She did not deserve this. Why didn’t you call an ambulance? Why didn’t you pick up the phone and call somebody?”

  • Fact Check: Fact-check: Tim Walz misleads about Trump and overtime pay

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz told union workers in Los Angeles that a Trump-Vance administration would harm unions and diminish workers’ paychecks.

Former President Donald Trump “cut overtime benefits for millions of workers,” Walz said at the Aug. 14 convention of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.

    Walz mischaracterized what happened.

When contacted for comment, the Harris-Walz campaign pointed to news articles showing that former President Barack Obama proposed to extend overtime pay eligibility to more workers, but a judge blocked it in November 2016, just before it was slated to take effect. The Trump administration did not challenge the judge’s ruling and instead set its own overtime rule, which extended overtime pay to millions fewer people than Obama’s rule would have done.

The Obama rule was not in effect at the time Trump took office, so Trump’s administration did not cut an existing benefit.

    Overtime rules under Obama, Trump

Most employees are eligible for time-and-a-half pay if they work more than 40 hours a week. But there are exceptions for white-collar workers.

To be considered a white-collar worker by the federal government, an employee has to make more than $455 per week; be paid a salary rather than an hourly wage; and work in an administrative, executive or professional position.

The Obama administration sought to boost the baseline amount salaried white-collar workers could earn and still qualify for overtime. So in 2016, the administration announced it would extend overtime eligibility to white-collar salaried workers earning less than $913 a week, or $47,476 a year. This was about double the exemption level set in 2004 of $455 per week, or $23,660 a year. (Hourly workers were already guaranteed overtime pay regardless of their earnings level).

The change would have extended overtime pay eligibility to 4.2 million additional Americans, the Obama administration said. (Economists generated their own estimates, lower or higher, but still in the millions.)

Republican-led states and business trade groups challenged the rule. A federal court in Texas halted Obama’s rule in November 2016, a week before it was to take effect.

Because the judge threw out the rule, the overtime threshold annual pay reverted to $23,660, said Rachel Greszler, a senior research fellow at the conservative Heritage Foundation.

A few months after the judge struck down the Obama rule, Trump took office. Trump’s administration did not defend the Obama-era rule change, dropping the government’s appeal in 2017.

The Trump administration proposed its own rule in 2019, with an earnings cutoff lower than the Obama rule but higher than the status quo.

The Trump Labor Department’s overtime rule became effective Jan. 1, 2020, and raised the overtime pay eligibility to salaried workers earning $35,568 per year. The department estimated that 1.2 million additional workers would be eligible for overtime pay.

Did the Trump changes constitute a cut?

It wasn’t the case that millions of workers previously qualified for overtime pay and then Trump changed that. The Trump administration did not defend the Obama-era legal case.

“By abandoning the 2016 rule and eventually introducing a new one with a significantly lower salary threshold, the Trump administration excluded millions of workers who would have benefited from the 2016 rule’s new or strengthened overtime protections,” said Jenn Round, director of Beyond the Bill, a program that advocates for labor standards enforcement at the Rutgers University Workplace Justice Lab.

The president of the Economic Policy Institute, Heidi Shierholz, who served in the Obama administration as chief economist at the Labor Department, wrote in 2019 that the Trump administration’s rule left millions of workers behind.

“At its heart, the Trump administration’s rule is based on the notion that someone making $35,568 a year is a well-paid executive who doesn’t need or deserve overtime protections,” Shierholz wrote. Rather than defend the Obama rule, “Trump has sided with the interests of corporate executives over those of working people.”

However, the notion that this represents a cut presumes that the courts would have upheld the Obama rule, which was far from a certainty.

“I cannot think of any way in which actions that the Trump Administration took could be construed as cutting overtime benefits,” Greszler said.

After the judge threw out Obama’s rule, the overtime threshold remained at $23,660, Greszler said. When Trump established a rule that increased the salary threshold to $35,568 “this increased the number of workers subject to overtime rules,” Greszler said.

And the skirmish continues: The Biden-Harris administration set a rule, effective July 1, which initially raises the salary threshold for overtime pay to $844 per week, the equivalent of $43,888 annually. The threshold rises to $58,656 per year on Jan. 1, 2025. There are currently at least three lawsuits pending against that rule.

    Our ruling

Walz said Trump “cut overtime benefits for millions of workers.”

In 2016, the Obama administration set a rule that would have raised the salary threshold for overtime pay. It said the change would extend overtime pay to 4.2 million more workers. But a judge struck it down before it took effect, and the incoming Trump administration dropped a challenge against the ruling.

The statement has an element of truth because the decision not to continue the judicial appeal process meant the Trump administration gave up on the possibility of providing overtime eligibility to millions more workers compared with the Obama-era rule. But categorizing it as a cut is misleading because it relies on the assumption that Obama’s more expansive rule would have been approved by the courts, which was not a certainty.

Trump’s administration did not take action to cut an existing benefit; the Obama rule was not in effect at the time Trump took office.

    We rate this Mostly False.
