Sung Jinwoo, the new Shadow Monarch, has always rescued his friends from menacing creatures that appear inside the gates. However, he decided to sit out the Jeju Island raid to take care of his mother, who had just woken up from an Eternal slumber. Unfortunately, this decision resulted in a significant death toll for Korean and Japanese hunters. Min Byung-Gyu, one of the most powerful hunters in Korea, became a victim of Ant King’s unstoppable rampage. Who Is Min Byung-Gyu in Solo Leveling?

In Solo Leveling, we are introduced to Min Byung-Gyu as one of the best hunters in Korea. He is a healer-type hunter who climbed to the top rank, S-Rank, in the series. We’ve only seen a handful of healers who achieved the S-Rank, so you can see how impressive this feat is. Byung-Gyu is also a close friend of Baek Yoonho, the Guild Master of the White Tiger Guild.

As an S-Rank healer, Min Byung-Gyu participated in all the previous unfruitful raids on Jeju Island. However, Eunseok, an S-Rank hunter and a good friend of Min and Baek, unfortunately died during the third raid. So, Min Byung-Gyu retired from being a hunter as his best friend’s death on the ant-infested island left him distressed and unwilling to continue his hunter journey.

Min Byung-Gyu’s Tragic End in Solo Leveling

Even though Min Byung-Gyu officially retired from the hunter business, he still shared his previous raid experiences when needed. He was the first to discover that the ants had evolved, which sparked the start of the fourth and final Jeju Island raid. While he initially opted out of the final raid, Byung-Gyu later joined the raiding party to help his friends and put an end to the ants.

However, his decision to return to Jeju Island fatefully cost his own life. The raid proceeded swiftly as the Korean hunters team took out the Ant Queen as they planned. But the hunters didn’t expect the arrival of the mighty black ant, aka the Ant King, who came to his mother’s death cry. The Ant King ate his mother’s head to figure out how the events transpired before his arrival.

After the Ant King found out that the Korean hunters were responsible for his mother’s death, the monstrous ant began to mercilessly strike the hunters one by one. Even Cha Hae-In was instantly struck down by the merciless ant and couldn’t be healed with the Elixir of Life, as witnessed in Solo Leveling Season 2, Episode 12.

These hunters were no match for the sheer powers of the Ant King, and Byung-Gyu was the sole reason for their survival. By utilizing his “Disguise” skill, the healer hid his presence and continued healing his allies. Nevertheless, the Ant King easily tracked him down as his sense was on another level.

The black ant wasted no time and stabbed Min Byung-Gyu before he could do something to survive. While the S-Rank healer asked his friends to run away, the Ant King quickly devoured his head and used his “Gluttony” skill to inherit Byung-Gyu’s speech and healing ability. So, Min Byung-Gyu was ruthlessly killed by the Ant King during the fourth Jeju Island Raid.

Min Byung-Gyu’s Revival in Solo Leveling

Later on, after defeating the Ant King, Sung Jinwoo turns his attention to Cha Hae-In, who is on the brink of death. When his healing medicines do not work on Cha Hae-In, he has no other option but to revive Byung-Gyu as one of his strongest shadows. Thus, we see Min Byung-Gyu being brought back to life as a shadow to successfully treat Cha Hae-In’s wounds. But Sung Jinwoo lets his soul rest in peace after helping them out as requested by his friend Baek Yoonho.

Furthermore, when Jinwoo used the Cup of Reincarnation to turn back time in the ending of Solo Leveling, Min Byung-Gyu didn’t lose his life in the revised timeline. In contrast, he was shown as a history professor. At last, the gods decided to be kind to the S-Rank healer in the revised timeline of the series.

• Go ahead and download the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from Microsoft’s website.

• Next, run the tool on Windows 10 and follow the on-screen instructions.
• If your PC is eligible, it will start downloading the Windows 11 update.
• Once the update is installed, it will automatically restart your PC and upgrade to Windows 11.

3. In-place Upgrade to Windows 11 on Unsupported PCs

In case you are facing the “This PC doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements to install Windows 11” error, it means your Windows 10 PC is not eligible for Windows 11. But do not worry, you can use the Rufus tool to bypass Windows 11 system requirements, be it TPM, Secure Boot, or 4GB+ RAM requirement. The best part is that you can perform an in-place upgrade meaning your files and programs will remain intact, just like before. Here are the steps to follow.

• Go ahead and download the official Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft’s website.
• Now, download the Rufus tool from here.
• After that, launch Rufus and click on “Select” to load the Windows 11 ISO image.
• Now, plug in a USB drive and click on “Start”. A pop-up will appear.

• Here, enable “Remove requirement for 4GB+ RAM, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0”.
• Now, click on “OK” and let Rufus flash the USB drive.

• After the flashing process, keep it connected to your Windows 10 PC and open File Explorer.
• Here, open the USB drive and you will find a “setup.exe” file. Open it.

• Now, follow the on-screen instructions and it will let you perform an in-place installation of Windows 11.
• It will automatically restart your PC and install Windows 11 on your unsupported PC without deleting anything.

4. Clean Install Windows 11 on Unsupported Windows 10 PCs

Those who want to clean install Windows 11 on unsupported Windows 10 PCs can follow this method. It also uses the Rufus tool to bypass hardware requirements but performs installation via the WinRE environment. This way, you will get a clean and fast experience on Windows 11. However, all your files and programs will be deleted from the C drive so make a backup before you proceed.

• Similar to the above method, download the Windows 11 ISO image and flash it using Rufus.
• Make sure to select “Remove requirement for 4GB+ RAM, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0”.
• You can also choose to remove the Microsoft account requirement during the setup process.

• Now, plug the USB drive into your Windows 10 PC and restart your computer.
• Enter the BIOS on Windows and choose the USB drive to boot from.

• Now, follow the on-screen instructions and choose the partition where you want to install Windows 11.

• The installation will begin, and this time, you won’t face any hardware requirement error.
• Finally, your PC will upgrade to Windows 11 without any issues.

So, that is how you can effortlessly upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10 on supported and unsupported PCs. The penultimate episode of Solo Leveling Season 2 showed the true might of the Ant King. The Ant Queen died from the heavy blow that Cha Hae-In landed on her. After eating the queen’s brain, the Ant King learned that Cha Hae-In was the one who killed her. So, without wasting any time, he sent her flying with a single hit.

Why Didn’t Cha Hae-In Recover with the Elixir of Life?

The Elixir of Life came as a blessing that helped Jinwoo heal his mother, who had been in Eternal Sleep for over four years. After reaching Jeju Island and saving the Hunters from the army of ants, Jinwoo asked the injured hunters to drink the healing potions in his inventory.

Every S-Rank hunter was astonished to see their wounds disappear, and that’s when Jinwoo spotted Cha Hae-In in the corner. Jinwoo only had limited bottles of healing potions left, but since Cha Hae-In appeared to be in a critical state, the hero didn’t shy away from using them. However, unlike the rest of the Hunters, her wounds were the most fatal. Still, Sung Jinwoo made her drink the healing potion, but she did not heal.

Jinwoo then went on to fight the Ant King. After defeating him, our boy returned to Cha Hae-in to help her heal again. This time, he pulled out another thing from his inventory – the Elixir of Life. Jinwoo was confident that the Holy Water of Life would do the job since it also healed his mother.

However, the S-Rank hunter couldn’t recover even after consuming it. Why? Well, that’s because the magical potion is only meant to cure illness and not fatal injuries. Jinwoo’s mother was sick from the Eternal Sleep disease, and that’s why the potion worked on her. But Cha Hae-In has been gravely injured, which isn’t exactly a sickness. Sadly, this condition isn’t covered by the Elixir of Life potion.

The Ant King’s single hit made the poor S-Rank hunter vomit blood, and after that, as stated by the other hunters, her aura started fading at a fast pace. So Jinwoo had to find some other way to save Cha Hae-In, one of the strongest female characters in Solo Leveling.

Min Byung-Gu Comes to the Rescue, But There’s a Catch

After the Elixir of Life failed to heal Cha Hae-In, Jinwoo grew anxious and started looking for a healer. He tried to find other ways to cure the S-Rank hunter, and soon, he came up with an idea. Jinwoo’s shadows were then ordered to find Min Byung-Gu’s body.

Tusk brought Byung-Gu’s body to his master, but now the question was – the ant had chewed off Byung-Gu’s head, so would that work? However, Jinwoo’s Shadow Extraction powers were more incredible than fans might’ve imagined.

The first two attempts were in vain, but the third one worked, and Byung-Gyu’s shadow was extracted. While the surviving hunters were trying to figure out what kind of summoner Jinwoo was, Byung-Gu’s shadow approached an injured Cha Hae-In. He started the healing process right away.

”I didn’t give him any orders, yet he started healing Ms. Cha all on his own.” – Baek to Jinwoo

On the side, Baek Yoonho, Korean S-Rank Hunter and the Guild Master of the White Tiger Guild, told Jinwoo what kind of person Byung-Gu was when he was alive. Byung-Gyu healed Cha Hae-In, and on Baek’s request, Jinwoo terminated the healer’s extraction. The S-Rank hunter was healed in Solo Leveling Chapter 105 and episode 13 of Season 2.
