The flagship Samsung Galaxy S Ultra series has been known with the S Pen after it discontinued the Note series. According to leaker @PandaFlashPro, the company is exploring a shift in design strategy for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, expected in 2027. Reports reveal that the change could lead to the removal of the S Pen slot. This means that users will have to buy and carry the stylus separately, which may not be convenient. However, this will not be the first time Samsung is using such an approach. Recall that in 2021, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra supports the S Pen, but there was no storage slot in the phone.
Gradual feature reduction signals shift
The action seems to be part of a larger shift that has already started. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has since started the cut down of features. For instance, Air Actions and the remote camera shutter, both Bluetooth-dependent features of the S Pen, have been removed.
Also, there are reports that Samsung will ditch stylus support in its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold SE. This is a major shift from prior design priorities in its high-end devices. However, despite these changes, Samsung has not officially confirmed that it is fully ditching the S Pen for its devices.
The S Pen is still a “core element” of the Galaxy product line, according to company executives in March. Nevertheless, Samsung may take a different approach. It will likely remove the S Pen from the device without giving up on stylus support. S Pen users will probably have to store the gadget on an external surface.
Can this removal be a good thing? Yes. The company will have more space to increase the battery size or even add new parts like better sensors. However, for those who regularly use this tool, its removal will do more harm than good.
Consumer concerns over pricing and value
Customers are becoming increasingly concerned that the perceived value may decrease if Samsung removes the integrated S Pen while maintaining the same high price tag. Additionally, a separate stylus could be more expensive and more likely to be misplaced. When deciding on the final design of upcoming Ultra models, the company will need to consider these factors.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is anticipated to launch in 2026, will continue to use the current integrated design. The Galaxy S27 series increases the likelihood of any significant structural changes, allowing Samsung more time to assess consumer reaction and complete its long-term hardware plan.

Back in the summer time of last year, the new Street Fighter film that is still in the works lost its original directors, twin brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, although not much reason was given at the time for their departure.
Hot off the heels of the very successful Talk To Me, which became A24’s highest grossing horror film, they were brought on to direct the latest Street Fighter film, and now one of the twins has given a reason why they dropped out of the project in 2024.
“The IP stuff I would usually stay away from, not because I don’t want to do it but because I don’t want to **** it up… there’s things with such big, in-built audiences, I’d hate to let a whole bunch of people down, like ‘what the **** was that,’ ‘I’m so sorry.’,” Danny Philipou told Collider.
“That’s my nightmare, pissing off all these people, these dedicated fan members. And if we’re getting a remake, obviously the original is amazing, [prompting fears around being] talented enough,” Danny Philipou noted.
“We were developing big IP, it wasn’t horror, but Street Fighter, and we were actually really excited for that. Developing that was a lot of fun, but just finding the time for it, it just didn’t line up properly for us, and so we decided to focus on the original stuff,” he added.
Calling the original 1994 Street Fighter film ‘amazing’ seems like a stretch, but it has definitely become a cult classic for it’s camp and terrible writing, plus it still makes Capcom quite a bit of money.
Capcom continues to recognizes the original film to this very day, as the included a reference to it with M. Bison’s release in Street Fighter 6.
The new film is likely experiencing a delay, but already has a new director from The Eric Andre Show, Kitao Sakurai. Sakurai served as the director and executive producer of the The Eric Andre Show for more than a decade.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro has cleared major regulatory certifications ahead of its expected launch. The tablet has the approval of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) in the United Arab Emirates and passed inspection by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). These certifications imply that the launch of this device is close. It will likely arrive with other regional models.
Hardware and Design
The Galaxy Tab Active series has always been designed with outdoor and industrial use in mind, and the Tab Active 5 Pro is no exception. Certification details confirm that the tablet will retain its reinforced exterior and support a removable battery. It will ship with 128GB of built-in storage, along with support for microSD card expansion. The device is manufactured in Vietnam, continuing Samsung’s established production pattern for its rugged line.
The certified SM-X356B version supports a wide range of cellular bands—15 in total—including n1, n3, and n5 for 5G networks. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, and Bluetooth. The Tab Active 5 Pro will also offer compatibility with Samsung’s S Pen, expanding its usefulness in fieldwork, logistics, and note-taking applications.
The tablet will support 15W charging and may come bundled with Samsung’s EP-T150 power adapter. Korean regulators have also certified the SM-X356N and SM-X350 models for the domestic market, both of which also support the same 15W charging rate.
Performance and software
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro has been previously spotted on Geekbench. On this benchmark, this device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. This device will ship with Android 15 out of the box. It will be one of Samsung’s earliest devices to use this system.
Compared to the standard Galaxy Tab Active 5 from 2024, the Pro variant will offer better processing power. It will also come with more advanced features for enterprise and rugged environments. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro now has approvals in multiple markets. We are only just waiting for the official launch of this device. Samsung has yet to confirm a release date.

By now, you may be aware of Google’s NotebookLM site. It helps students understand complex topics by breaking them down and summarizing with the help of AI. However, their breakout feature is to turn any article, data, or information into a podcast hosted by two AI hosts. Google has now confirmed that you’ll soon be able to access NotebookLM as an app on your phone.
Ever since it came out last year, the NotebookLM has remained available as a website that you can access via your desktop or mobile browser. There was no native app for it, and it almost seemed like Google had no plans on making one. However, it doesn’t seem that far off now, as Google has revealed that a NotebookLM app is coming out soon.
10/10 post IMO
(also the NotebookLM app is coming soon!) https://t.co/SueI00NXNl
Apart from the post itself, we don’t have much to go on. However, we do expect the app interface could be similar to its progressive web app layout. Which is what appears when you visit NotebookLM on a mobile browser and save it as a PWA. It has a three-tab layout, featuring Sources, Chat, and Studio.
Since NotebookLM has been available for more than a year, it is high time we get a proper app. Plus, given that Microsoft is also adding a similar feature to create AI-hosted podcasts to Copilot, Google needs to make its offering more accessible.
I also feel a mobile app offers wider appeal, especially in developing regions where many students don’t have a desktop or laptop at home. For them, a mobile app can prove quite fruitful. What are your thoughts on the story? Would you like a NotebookLM app, and what are some features you want them to add to it? Let us know in the comments below.

Just before the official sales of the Nintendo Switch 2, new information about this device is coming to light. The company has confirmed that the upcoming console will not include a system-wide achievement system. Rival platforms, such as PlayStation and Xbox, allow users to earn and track achievements across all games. However, Nintendo says that it will forgo this feature, Nintendo continues to forgo this feature. When asked whether the new console would finally adopt a unified rewards framework, Bill Trinen, Nintendo’s VP of player and product experience, gave a direct response: “No.”
Game-specific tracking remains an option
Despite the absence of a global achievement system, Nintendo players will not be entirely without progress tracking features. As part of the Nintendo Switch 2 launch lineup, enhanced editions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild will include their in – game achievement systems. However, these will not be integrated into the console itself. Instead, players will access them through a new mobile platform called Zelda Notes.
The Zelda Notes system is part of the updated Nintendo App, available on mobile and tablet devices. This tool will serve as a companion app. It will also offer detailed tracking of players’ activity in the two Zelda titles. Gamers will also be able to monitor metrics such as weapon collection, shrine completion totals and other in – game milestones.
Rather than appearing on the console, all achievement data will be seen within the app. In addition to basic tracking, Nintendo will also add a new reward system within Zelda Notes called Medals. It offers a structured but game – specific incentive. The reward will be issued when players reach specific points. These rewards will only apply within the Zelda universe, different from the usual trophies tied to user accounts.
Nintendo Switch 2 Social features through the app
Players using Zelda Notes will be able to share their progress and achievements with friends. They will also be able to view each other’s records and milestones using the comparison features. This feels a bit like some features on the platform-wide achievement systems. However, it is limited to select titles and external to Switch 2’s operating system.

The release of Rockstar Games’ GTA 6 has been eagerly anticipated for over a year now. The game’s name alone evokes visions of a neon-lit Vice City, adrenaline-pumping chases, and the expansive, complex worlds that Rockstar Games has so brilliantly created over the past ten years. Nevertheless, despite this intense enthusiasm, there is still a nagging question, a cloud of uncertainty brought on by the unpredictability of game development. This begs one question: Will Grand Theft Auto 6 launch in the fall of 2025, or are we going to be waiting even longer? Keep reading as we find out if GTA 6 is delayed.
GTA 6 Is Planned For a 2025 Release
Let us roll back to December 5, 2023. This is the first time we learned about the official GTA 6 release window. Toward the end of the GTA 6 trailer, it concluded with the unambiguous declaration: ‘Coming 2025.’ This secured 2025 as the release year for the highly anticipated GTA 5 successor.
Soon after the massive reveal, Take-Two announced the timeframe for Grand Theft Auto 6 in an earnings call. In this conference call, the parent company behind the game confirmed that GTA 6 will be released in Fall 2025. This definitive statement, coupled with its reiteration in subsequent financial reports and communications from parent company Take-Two Interactive, serves as the bedrock of the current expectation.
With a Mafia and a Borderlands game ready for release, Take-Two might be trying to delay the marketing for Q3 of 2025. A rumor suggested a marketing deal between PS5 and Rockstar Games, which indicates that PS5 listed GTA 6 in the PS store‘s backend. Although it does not confirm a GTA 6 trailer announcement, we can expect some material soon. However, we cannot deny the possibility of a release delay for GTA 6.
A GTA 6 Delay is Possible
The possibility of a delay starts with a statement made by Take-Two’s CEO. In an interview, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick explained the marketing strategy for GTA 6 and said, “We found that the better thing to do is provide marketing materials relatively close to the release window.”
However, when talking to IGN, he said there is always a risk of slippage and saying absolutely might jinx the release date. He further mentioned:
“So we feel really good about it. […] I think the game is eagerly anticipated both internally and externally. We know that Rockstar seeks perfection. I never claim success before it occurs. I’m fond of saying arrogance is the enemy of continued success, so we’re all running scared and looking over our shoulders and we know that the competition is not asleep. Our whole organization is super excited.”
Well, big studios always delay games before the release date, and it should not come as a surprise. If we go back in time, games like Batman: Arkham Knight and Uncharted 4 were delayed just weeks before being released. Even a recent release like Assassin’s Creed: Shadows also faced a significant delay. This mostly happens due to last-minute polishing to deliver a solid game.
However, former Rockstar Games technical director Obbe Vermeij revealed that if the company decided on a delayed release for GTA 6, we would not know for half the year. Vermeij said in an interview that the decision to postpone GTA 4 was made four months or so before the original release date.
Vermeij also said, “GTA 6 will sell for 10 plus years, and there is no competition to worry about. They are not going to release the game until they’re 100% happy with it. No matter what it said in the trailer.”
Is GTA 6 Trailer 2 Delayed Due to Release Date Delay?
One thing that keeps us speculating about whether the next Grand Theft Auto is delayed or not is the announcement of the GTA 6 trailer 2. The GTA 6 videos page on its website changed recently, which many speculated was a move to add new screenshots from the game. Unfortunately, we have yet to get any new information about the game.
If we get a new trailer, it must contain the exact GTA 6 release date. This might be a reason behind the game’s further announcements. If we keep that in mind, Rockstar might not reveal the delay plans before May 2025 if GTA 6 is delayed! To address this announcement delay, plenty of studios are trying to adjust the release dates of their games.
It’s still not totally clear if GTA 6 will come out in Fall 2025 like Take-Two said. Rockstar keeps saying that’s the plan, and it looks like they are working hard. But making such a big game is really hard, and as Rockstar has delayed games before, anything is possible.
Right now, all we want is to play in GTA 6’s Vice City again, with all the new-gen upgrades. We don’t know for sure if it will be ready in Fall 2025 or if it will take a bit longer. Only the people at Rockstar know for sure.
That said, what are your thoughts on GTA 6 being delayed? Do you think Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming in 2026? Do tell us in the comments below.

Windows 10 will no longer be supported after October 14, 2025, according to the announcement. This implies there won’t be any more security updates, additional fixes, or technical support provided. Microsoft claims this decision is irreversible.
Microsoft Will Stop Dishing Out Support for Windows 10 on October 14, So Mark Your Calendars
Approximately 240 million people are still operating on Windows 10. This amount of users will need to take actions quickly. If your machine does not fall under the eligible devices for Windows 11, you will be forced to update your system’s hardware or purchase a new computer.
Operating systems void of regular updates poses serious risks. Microsoft likened it to leaving one’s front door ajar. The system without security updates is more prone to being attacked by spyware or malware.
Microsoft reminded users about the cutoff date for Windows 10 support, just as they had previously stated. Any devices operating on Windows 10 will no longer receive support of any kind post October 14. This dates marks the end of Windows 10 security patches too.
There is some positive news for enterprises, however. Businesses and organizations will be provided staggered support from Microsoft for an ‘indefinite’ period—but at a cost. Depending on older systems greatly rely on would have more time, but put up with additional costs.
If you want to know if your computer can support Windows 11, you can check easily. All you need to do is search for ‘PC Health Check’ on the search bar. Open it and then press ‘Check Now.’ The application will inform you of the requirements your computer has for Windows 11.
Windows 11 requires more up-to-date devices like the inclusion of a TPM 2.0 chip as well as a supported processor. Most older devices may not qualify because of this. This is the reason Windows 10 users still have to start thinking about their future options.
Microsoft claims that Windows 11 was created to improve security protocols, performance, speed, and modernization. This might seem like a huge leap, but it makes perfect sense if you think about it.
For business users, this is a good opportunity to look into more support services. If you’re still on Windows 10, now is your chance, as it is the perfect time to purchase a new computer or even upgrade the old one.

Max’s renowned video game adaptation, The Last of Us TV Show, returns with a darker season 2 in a week. The show’s debut season is a masterpiece and sets the bar so high for the upcoming seasons. The second season has been in the works for nearly two years and is all set for the premiere. Ahead of the TLOU season 2’s premiere, the critics were invited to an earlier screening of the second season. Therefore, the first reviews for The Last of Us Season 2 are out along with the Rotten Tomatoes score.

The first season of TLOU was a video game adaptation done right and it was praised by critics and audiences alike back in 2023. Coming back to The Last of Us Season 2, the latest season is certified fresh with a 93% score based on 45 reviews at the time of writing. In comparison, the first season of The Last of Us received a 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Andrew Webster from The Verge summarizes the second season as “What’s impressive about the show’s second season is how it maintains that same revenge-fueled storyline (or, at least, the first half of it) while also building on it.” Meanwhile, Sabrina Barr from Metro UK says,“The Last Of Us had a mighty task on its hands to live up to its first season. Fans of the drama will not be disappointed.”

If you are wondering if season 2 still remains faithful to its source material, “It’s in the painstaking process of actually adapting, however, that season 2 truly soars. Following the broad strokes of the game is as straightforward as it gets, but making various changes to further enrich an already-compelling narrative? That’s what puts this on another level altogether,” says Jeremy Mathai from Slash Film.
However, some critics noted that the upcoming suffers from pacing issues as the creators have decided to adapt only the first half of the game. As someone who finished The Last of Us Part II videogame (review), I can understand why the critics must have felt the second season 2 to be incomplete. Apart from this issue, it looks like Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann have once again expanded their franchise with a brutal and powerful second season.
The Last of Us Season 2 will premiere later this Sunday, April 13, on Max. Upon hearing the massive positive reviews for the forthcoming season 2, I’m so excited to watch the latest episodes starting this weekend. That said, what are your predictions for season 2 of TLOU?
