If you use Instagram on an iPad, you may have noticed that it is just a blown-up version of the mobile app and doesn’t sit well with large displays. Meta is already aware of this issue, and it seems like they are already working on a dedicated Instagram app design for a tablet experience coming to iPads.
According to The Information, Meta is finally working on a version of Instagram tailored for iPads. This comes out of nowhere, given that the company has refused to do so for almost a decade now. According to the report, this sudden change of heart comes from the impending TikTok ban as a way to push more users towards their app.
Currently, when you open Instagram on an iPad, it either defaults to the mobile layout, leaving distracting black borders on either end. This is worse than the Android version, which at least takes up the entire screen, shifting the bottom tabs to the right.
Instagram head, Adam Mosseri, was once asked about the sorry state of the app on iPads in 2022. He replied with, “It’s still just not a big enough group of people to be a priority.” But now it seems that the priorities have shifted, given the unsure state of their biggest competition.
Yup, we get this one a lot. It’s still just not a big enough group of people to be a priority. Hoping to get to it at some point, but right now we’re very heads down on other things.
This won’t be the first time Meta has tried to take advantage of the TikTok ban, as the company announced its CapCut competitor called Edits in January. We still don’t have an accurate timeline as to when we can expect the app to arrive. But this is a big win for iPad users, and we can finally expect a more coherent experience on our devices. If you are a fan of courtroom dramas, there is no way that you are unfamiliar with the charms and legal adventures of Harvey Specter. It has been a while since Suits aired its last episode, and even though Gabriel Macht appeared in Suits: LA in a cameo, you might wonder where the cast of this beloved show is and what they are up to. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the cast of Suits and where they are now.
1. Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter

Probably the most recognisable face ever in the history of courtroom dramas, Gabriel Macht appears in Suits as the charming and risk-taking lawyer, Harvey Specter, the senior partner at Pearson Hardman. His most controversial move in the TV show was hiring Michael Ross at the firm, even though Ross didn’t hold a degree per se.
After the conclusion of Suits in 2019, Gabriel Macht appeared in a Spin-off series called Pearson’s in 2019, but the show was cancelled after just one season. Since then, Gabriel has not appeared in any projects whatsoever and lives a rather private life off-camera. However, just when you thought that Harvey Specter was a thing of the past, he made a cameo appearance in Suits: LA in February 2025.
Patrick J. Adams played Michael Ross in Suits. Even though this character had passed the bar exam multiple times, he does not possess a degree as such. Even after his lack of a legal degree, Ross managed to get a job at Pearson Hardman and eventually became Harvey Specter’s right-hand man.
After constantly appearing in Suits for seven seasons, Adams left the show only to reappear in the final episode of Suits. Since then, he has appeared on The Right Stuff(2020) and A League of Their Own (2022). Talking about his most recent on-screen appearance, Adams appeared in a movie titled He Went That Way(2023). His most recent appearance was in a 2023 movie titled I’ve Never Wanted Anyone More.
3. Meghan Markle as Rachel Zane

Meghan Markle is without a doubt one of the most popular Suits cast members. She appears in the show as Rachel Zane. Following her appearance in Suits, she permanently quit working on movies and shows after she married Prince Harry in 2018 and became the Duchess of Sussex. In 2020, Megan and Harry moved to California with their children and started a non-profit organization, Archewell. She returned to the screen in 2022 in the docuseries Harry & Megan; however, it is unclear if she will return to acting or not.
Rick Hoffman appears in Suits as Louis Litt and was the embodiment of corporate pettiness. His biggest issue with Harvey Spector was the hiring of Michael Ross while he was a supervising attorney at the law firm. After the conclusion of Suits, Rick Hoffman did not appear in many projects. However, he did appear in Pearson, a Suits spinoff, but other than that, he has no major credits to his name.
Sarah Raffery takes up the role of Donna Paulsen, who works at the firm as a legal secretary, working for Harvey Specter. Most of the time, Harvey Specter does what he does and she is the one who takes care of the fallout. After Suits ended, she appeared in some episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and then appeared in Browse (2020). However, her biggest TV role after Suits was in Chicago Med, where she appeared as Dr. Pamela Blake.
6. Gina Torres as Jessica Pearson
Image Credit: Shutterstock (via Kathy Hutchins)
A founding partner at Pearson Hardman, Gina Torres appears as Jessica Pearson in the cast of Suits, who is one of the most powerful characters in the show. Most of the time, Harvey is fearless and can stand up to virtually anyone, but sometimes, even Harvey has taken a knee before Jessica. After Suits ended, Gina Torres appeared as a lead in Pearson and most recently, appeared in 9-1-1: Lone Star as one of the lead characters.
Katherine Heigl appeared in Suits for Seasons 8 and 9 as Samantha Wheeler. She is a partner who works with Robert Zane during the merger with Specter Litt. She appeared as a proper boss lady who gets things done and makes things go her way by any means necessary. After the conclusion of Suits, Katherine Heigl stayed off-screen for some time and then appeared in Fear of Rain (2021). She also appears in and was the executive producer of Firefly Lane (2021).
In the cast of Suits, Rachel Harris appears as Sheila Sazs, who works at Harvard and is a career counselor who helps students find jobs after graduation. Most of the time, her character provides comic relief during intense moments of the show. However, Rachel is best known for appearing in Lucifer as Doctor Linda Martin, and once she was done with both Lucifer and Suits, she appeared in comedy shows like The Sex Life of College Girls (2021) and Reno 911.
9. Amanda Schull as Katrina Bennett
Image Credit: Shutterstock (via Kathy Hutchins)
Amanda Schull appears in the cast of Suits as Katrina Bennett, an ambitious lawyer who left her job at the DA’s office and joined Pearson Hardman. After Suits, she stuck to playing minor roles in shows like NCIS, MacGyver, and 9-1-1: Lone Star, where she appeared alongside her Suits co-star Gina Torres. Her most recent screen appearance was in The Blessing Bracelet released in 2023.
Wendell Pierce appears in Suits as Rachel Zane’s father, Robert Zane. If you watch the two characters on screen, they both share the same traits of a head-on approach and getting things done their way by hook or crook. While he was working on Suits, Wendell appeared in Selma (2014) and highly popular TV shows such as Ray Donovan (2013)and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan (2018). After the conclusion of Suits, he became a regular of Eureka! and appeared as one of the leads in The Watch.
11. Aloma Wright as Gretchen Bodinski
Image Credit: Shutterstock (via Joe Seer/ Kathy Hutchins)
Aloma Wright appears as an executive assistant named Gretchen Bodinski in the cast of Suits and is a rather minor character in the show. She brings a perspective from a much more grounded level to the audience, allowing us to see the show from the perspective of someone not on a high post at the firm.
After the conclusion of Suits, Aloma Wright appeared mostly in Holiday movies such as Baking Christmas (2019), The Christmas Edition (2020), and Our Christmas Journey (2021). Most recently, she appeared in Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan as Viola Wilson.
Nintendo has officially announced that the game cartridges for its upcoming Switch 2 console will be just as unappetizing as those of the original Nintendo Switch. If you were thinking about giving your copy of Mario Kart a taste test, Nintendo strongly advises against it — and they’ve made sure you won’t enjoy it if you try.
Nintendo Confirms: Switch 2 Cartridges Will Taste Just as Awful — and That’s on Purpose
This unusual feature might raise some eyebrows. After all, who would willingly put a game cartridge in their mouth? But there’s actually a very practical reason behind this decision: safety. Nintendo coats its game cartridges with denatonium benzoate, a chemical known as one of the most bitter substances in the world. The goal is to prevent small children — or curious pets — from accidentally swallowing these small, brightly colored items.
“We don’t want to risk any accidental ingestion,” explained Takuhiro Dohta, development lead for the Switch 2, in an interview with GameSpot. “We actually designed the cartridges so that if they get in your mouth, you instinctively spit them out.”
Denatonium benzoate is not harmful to health, but it is extremely unpleasant to taste. It’s commonly used in products like nail polish to prevent nail-biting. And even small amounts are enough to trigger a strong reaction. The coating on the cartridges acts as a deterrent, particularly for younger children who might not yet understand the difference between a toy and a treat.
Producer Kouichi Kawamoto, who also worked on the original Switch, shared his own experience. “Yes, I licked the original cartridge once,” he admitted, visibly cringing. “But only once. Never again. I don’t understand why some people try it voluntarily.”
While it might seem like a strange feature to adults, this bitter-tasting layer is part of Nintendo’s broader commitment to safety and user-friendly design — even if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, literally.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is slated for release on June 5th. And along with upgraded hardware and exciting new titles, it will come with a familiar, foul-tasting safety feature. So remember: these games are meant to be played, not eaten.

Following the appointment of Josh Woodward to lead the Gemini team, Google has been making great strides in offering powerful consumer applications. Since the release of the widely praised Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model, Google has made it available to free Gemini users with some rate limit. And now, the impressive Gemini 2.5 Pro model powers the Deep Research AI agent on Gemini.
However, note that Deep Research via Gemini 2.5 Pro is only available to paid Gemini Advanced subscribers. While free Gemini users can access the Deep Research agent, it’s powered by the smaller Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking AI model. Both are reasoning models, but 2.5 Pro has broader world knowledge, resulting in better results.
In a blog post, Google says that human raters preferred Gemini’s Deep Research by more than a “2-to-1 margin” when compared to ChatGPT’s Deep Research agent. Even in my Deep Research comparison between Gemini and ChatGPT, I leaned more towards Gemini’s output as it consistently included current information on given topics.
Bear in mind that my testing was based on the older Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking model. Now, with the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, Google can deliver far better results. That said, there is still one major feature missing on Gemini’s Deep Research agent.
You can’t upload files when using the agent on Gemini whereas ChatGPT’s Deep Research lets you upload PDFs of paywalled science journals to expand the knowledge base. This can help the agent to incorporate valuable insights that are not freely available on the web. I hope with future updates, Google adds this important functionality to Gemini’s Deep Research agent.
Apart from that, you can now generate Audio Overviews, aka AI-generated podcasts, based on the generated report, just like NotebookLM.

Daredevil is one of those shows that gives Marvel an open hand with character introductions. Since The Man Without Fear, or Daredevil, himself is a street-level hero, we get to see several other ones, like we have seen Punisher and Elektra previously, and The White Tiger recently. Now, we all know that in Daredevil: Born Again, Wilson Fisk has created a Task Force whose sole job is to hunt down vigilantes, and based on what we saw in episode 8, another vigilante is on Fisk AKA Kingpin’s radar. It’s none other than Swordsman. Is Swordsman or Jack Duquesne going to die at the hands of Wilson Fisk?
Why Is Fisk Threatening Swordsman in Daredevil: Born Again?
Image Credit: Marvel Studios (via Disney+, screenshot by Shashank Shakya/Beebom)
Jack Duquesne appeared for the first time in Hawkeye and displayed his incomparable swordfighting skills. Since then, he has been off the screen with no reasoning whatsoever from Marvel. Now he has resurfaced in Daredevil: Born Again. We already know that Jack is one of the wealthiest people in New York City, so he keeps getting invited to fundraiser balls organised by the Mayor’s Office.
He has appeared once before, and now, he has once again appeared in Daredevil: Born Again Episode 8. In the said episode. Fisk takes Jack to his office and asks him to donate money to his fund to rebuild the Red Hook port. When Jack declines to do so, Fisk threatens him by saying that he knows that Jack has been Swordsman, the vigilante, and even though it was a one-time affair, that would be enough for his task force to bring Jack in.
What Happened to Swordsman in Marvel Comics?
As interesting and frightening as the interaction between Swordsman and Kingpin is in Daredevil Born Again, in Marvel Comics, this arc was never really seen. Originally, Swordsman was considered a threat by the Avengers due to a misunderstanding, but later on, he became an agent against Mandarin for the superhero team and even earned himself a spot as an Avenger. However, he was killed at the hands of Kang in GIANT-SIZE AVENGERS #2, released in 1974.
In Daredevil Born Again, with Kigpin’s threat, Jack has no option but to submit and do as Fisk has asked him to. However, considering that Duquesne has been able to stand his ground with his swords against multiple enemies, I don’t think he would go down that easily.

It’s a familiar rhythm in the tech world: a new month rolls in, and with it often comes news about software support policies. This time around, the headlines aren’t so cheerful for owners of several once-beloved Samsung Galaxy smartphones. The Korean tech giant has officially announced the end of software support for five Samsung Android smartphones that, in their own way, marked significant points in Samsung’s journey: the pioneering Galaxy S20 series (including the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra), along with the Galaxy A32, A52 5G, and A72.
The End of the Line for Key Devices
The Galaxy S20 Series: Five Years of Flagship Innovation
The cessation of software support for the Galaxy S20 lineup marks the conclusion of a five-year cycle since these devices first hit the market. They were Samsung’s early forays into high refresh rate displays and advanced camera systems, setting new benchmarks in the premium smartphone category.
The Galaxy A52 5G and A72: Mid-Range Trailblazers
Similarly, the Galaxy A52 5G and A72 were among the first mid-range contenders to bring features previously reserved for flagship devices to a more accessible price point. Think smooth high refresh rate screens, immersive stereo speakers, the speed of 5G connectivity, and faster charging – all democratizing premium experiences.
The Galaxy A52 5G: A Nuanced Situation
It’s worth noting that for the Galaxy A52 5G, Samsung had already stopped providing Android support updates for the standard consumer version some time ago, a fate shared by the regular Galaxy A52 and A52s. However, the enterprise editions of the Galaxy A52 and A52s will continue to receive updates for the time being.
The Galaxy A32: Completing the List
Adding to the roster of devices no longer slated for software updates is the Galaxy A32, rounding out the five phones now entering their end-of-life phase in terms of software support. The S20 series received updates for five years, while the mid-range devices were supported for four, aligning with Samsung’s typical policy for these categories.
What Does This Mean for Owners?
While Samsung might still issue critical security patches if any major vulnerabilities are discovered, the bottom line is that if you own one of these phones and value having the latest features and, crucially, up-to-date security protections, it’s time to start considering an upgrade to a newer device. The pace of technological advancement is relentless, and maintaining a modern and secure smartphone necessitates ongoing support from the manufacturer. Samsung’s decision, while expected for devices of this age, serves as a reminder of the lifecycle of electronic gadgets and the need for renewal to stay at the forefront of technology.

A new week is here, bringing us another episode of Daredevil: Born Again. We are already eight episodes down, and while a lot is happening, a new and surprising thing has happened on the show. In Daredevil Born Again Episode 8, we see that Benjamin Poindexter escaped from prison and arrived at the gala organised by Fisk. There, he attempted to take a shot at Fisk but Matt AKA Daredevil heard Bullseye cock the rifle and took the bullet on himself instead of letting Kingpin get shot. Now, the question is, why did Daredevil save Wilson Fisk in Daredevil: Born Again Episode 8? Let’s find out.
Why Did Daredevil Save Kingpin in Born Again?
Image Credit: Marvel Studios (Via Disney UK)
To answer this question, let’s look back at the original Daredevil series. In the show, Daredevil has the opportunity to kill Kingpin, but he doesn’t do it. Matt wanted to send Kingpin to prison and get justice for whatever Wilson had done the right way. Now, moving back to Daredevil: Born Again, Matt firmly believes that death is not the right punishment for Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. According to him, Fisk needs to rot in prison for all the things he has done. Matt knows that Fisk’s image in front of the public matters a lot to him; being in prison is what would get to him.
Moreover, if Kingpin had died in the Daredevil: Born Again episode 8, he would have become a hero to the public, as it would be a Mayor who got assassinated, and Daredevil would not want that to happen. On top of that, Matt had just figured out that it was Vanessa who hired Bullseye and got Foggy killed, not Wilson Fisk, so letting Fisk die would not be the right thing to do.
With that being said, the episode ended with Matt lying in a pool of his blood as the screen went red. So, let’s wait and see what awaits us in the next episode and till then, stay tuned with us for more updates!

Mortal Kombat 1 finds itself in a very interesting position currently because no one really knows what (if anything) is coming next to the game.
NetherRealm Studios announced today that Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is set to undergo server maintenance tomorrow, April 9.
According to the official post, the maintenance period is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET.
It’s unknown how long this server downtime will last, but you should probably assume it’ll be for a few hours at least.
During this time, all online functionality shall remain unavailable including matchmaking, the in-game store, rewards and more.
NetherRealm also doesn’t state what the purpose of the maintenance is, however, it could just be for general maintenance, a hotfix update or adding new content to the store.
We already know Mortal Kombat 2 movie skins are on the way to MK1, though, no release date has been given for those yet.
Ed Boon also recently teased Mortal Kombat 3 skins for Sonya and Nightwolf (who isn’t even currently in the game), but it could have been simply for an April Fool’s Day joke.
That could point to the existence of a Kombat Pack 3 if true, however.
There’s currently no more announced playable characters coming to the game after the T-1000 and Madam Bo, who are now available.
Stay tuned to EventHubs for more updates as they become available.
Mortal Kombat 1 will be offline for maintenance on April 9 starting at 8am CT/6am PT. Stay tuned here for updates. #MK1
Evo Japan 2025 is now just a month away, and it’s looking to be bigger than ever — especially where one fighting game is concerned.
Now that registration has officially closed, we can see the final entrant counts for Evo Japan 2025 where Street Fighter 6 is showing up big.
According to the big tournament’s Start.gg page, there’s 8,648 unique attendees signed up to go to the event, which is up from 6,797 from 2024.
And a vast majority of people there are coming for Street Fighter specifically.
The final count shows 6,536 registered players for SF6 while Tekken 8 is at second place with 960.
Generally, we tend to see numbers decrease year over year for fighting games at Evo, but not this time around.
Street Fighter 6 had 5,089 in 2024, so they’ve managed to pull in almost 1,500 more people over last year.
This encapsulates how much of a boom Street Fighter 6 is having in Japan specifically the likes of which hasn’t been seen since Street Fighter 4, but it may be even bigger.
Street Fighter 6 has sold over 1 million copies in Japan alone, and there’s so many big events going on there that not only cater to the hardcore like Capcom Cup 11 and Street Fighter League but also more casual audiences like the Crazy Raccoon Cup series.
This high number of entrants also makes for the second-highest Evo bracket ever beat only by Street Fighter 6 at Evo Las Vegas in 2023 just after the game released, which hit a whopping 7,061 players.
1. Street Fighter 6 – 6,536
2. Tekken 8 – 960
3. Guilty Gear Strive – 676
4. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising – 474
5. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. 5on5 – 433
6. Street Fighter 3: Third Strike 5on5 – 363
7. King of Fighters 15 – 289
Considering Evo 2024 hit 5,265 players last year for SF6, this may even be larger than what Evo Vegas 2025 is going to produce for entrants, so that’s another way to show how big the game is in Japan.
As for the rest of the mainstage games, Guilty Gear Strive came in at third place with 676 entrants, which is down from 890 last year.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising capped at 474 players compared to 761 entrants in 2024 at Evo Japan.
Finally, there’s The King of Fighters 15 at 289 entrants, which is also down from 456 last year, but it is coming right after Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves releases though is not featured as a main title this time.
Evo Japan is also running two 5on5 team events for Street Fighter 3: Third Strike and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.
The Third Strike special tournament shows 363 attendees while Virtua Fighter brought in 433, which admittedly doesn’t exactly add up for the team format.
We don’t have numbers yet for the main Evo 2025 yet, but they did release early Evo leaderboard rankings last month that also shows Street Fighter 6 on top.
So it seems we have a pretty undisputed king of fighting games this generation as far as major tournaments go, and it is a bit hard to imagine Fatal Fury or even 2XKO catching up to that now.
Evo Japan 2025 is set to take place from May 9–11 at the Tokyo Big Sight center.
It hasn’t been all that long since Venom hit the stage in Guilty Gear Strive Season 4, but there’s already a new update to the game.
Arc System Works just recently dropped the Version 1.45 patch notes for Guilty Gear that should now be available.
This is unfortunately not a balance or big feature update that fans had been hoping for judging by the comments on social media.
Nor does it include the matchmaking or Training Mode improvements either.
Instead, it seems they’re focusing on just fixing a few of Venom’s issues for now.
We’ll likely be waiting until potentially Unika’s release later this Spring to receive a more substantial update for Strive.
You can check out the full patch notes below or on the Guilty Gear website.
An update to Version 1.45 will be released after maintenance on April 8 for the PlayStation®4/PlayStation®5/Steam/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Windows versions of Guilty Gear -Strive- with fixes for various issues.
