If you’ve been having troubles connecting to other players in Street Fighter 6 recently, you are definitely not alone, and Capcom is on the case.
The developers just announced that SF6 will undergo emergency server maintenance tonight to try and fix what’s been going on the past week.
Servers will be pulled offline starting at 10 p.m. PST / 1 a.m. EST and are scheduled to remain down until 11:30 P.m. PST / 2:30 a.m. EST though it may last shorter or longer depending on how it goes.
The only stated purpose of the maintenance is to hopefully fix the communication issues that have been hitting the game since the Outfit 3 update last week.
These problems have been severe enough for Capcom themselves to postpone the anticipated Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Japan event as well as seemingly the World Warrior UK & Ireland Regional Final too.
There are some other things that still need addressing like Zangief’s apparently bugged Super, but that’ll probably need to wait for a future update.
We’ll be conducting server maintenance today 12/6 from 10-11:30PM PT to fix the communication errors. Thank you for your patience.https://t.co/hDVZdEMZMI
