Severance Season 2 Episode 3 is now live on Apple TV+ and has brought us something none of us expected to see this soon. However, we are not here to talk about that turning point; instead, we are here to discuss a new department of the severed floor to which we have been introduced. We see Mark and Helly go to the same room where they found a man with a goat in Severance Season 1. However, this time, they go deeper into the department and come across the Mammalians Nurturable department. So, without further ado, let me tell you all we know about Mammalians Nurturable in Severance Season 2 Episode 3.
Why Did Mark and Helly Go to Mammalians Nurturable in Severance Season 2?
We see that Mark and Helly head out with Miss Casey’s missing posters to look for the department where they found a man with a goat. They had hoped that people there might know something about the disappearance of Miss Casey. However, as they made their way into the department through a tunnel, they were greeted with hostility by the manager of Mammalians Nurturable. Initially, she refuses to recognize Ms.Casey, but when Mark insists, she gets agitated and rings her cowbell summoning all of the department’s staff.
Following this, Mark talked to all the members of the department and reassured them that Mark and Helly were at Mammalians Nurturable just to seek help in finding Miss Casey. He also said that if Lumon can make Miss Casey disappear, they can do it to any of them and they should stand up for each other. After hearing this, the manager told Mark that Miss Casey used to hold sessions there sometimes but they did not know what had happened to her.
What Is The Job of Mammalians Nurturable in Severance?
Mammalians Nurturable are responsible for breeding and taking care of goats. However, the purpose of these goats is unknown to us. It could be for the food supplies for the workers at Lumon, or maybe they are being grown to be used in a lab for the experiments Lumon has been carrying out. Even though we don’t know what exactly Lumon is up to, based on how deliberately they need Mark to finish the Cold Harbor file, it is safe to say that Lumon is up to something sinister which will be revealed to us later on.
Who Is the Actress Behind the Head of Mammalians Nurturable Department?
Lorne, the department head of Mammalians Nurturable, is played by Gwendoline Christie. She is best known for her role as Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. The British actress has also appeared in other popular titles including Wednesday, The Sandman, and Star Wars: Resistance.
