Samsung took the wraps off its new software update, One UI 7 a few months ago. Earlier this month, the company finally kickstarted its beta program with the first Beta reaching the Galaxy S24 series. These smartphones in Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US can now experiment with the new OS while devs cook it. We expect the first official form of One UI 7 to arrive with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in January 2025.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series to Bring New Useful AI Features for Video Recording
Now tipster Ice Universe has just revealed that the subsequent version of One UI 7 will introduce a new “audio eraser” feature. It is not currently available in the beta1 version. This audio eraser feature in One UI 7 enables users to adjust the volume of specific sounds in a video. It will dynamically remove or reduce noise from wind, traffic, and other noisy situations. It will keep the voices’ clarity and improve the audio’s overall quality. This interesting feature will improve the experience without external software or hardware change.
This is another feature driven by AI on One UI 7. Following the current trend in the tech world, Samsung has embraced AI with its Galaxy S24 series. We expect the Galaxy AI to become even more powerful with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. After all, Samsung tends to unveil new exclusive features with the latest Galaxy smartphones. Given the time the company had to work on new features for its latest flagship lineup, and how the smartphone market is focused on AI, we are sure the brand will try to impress in this area.
AI certainly is at the center of the current smartphone market. We expect this particular area to be the biggest focus for competitors in 2025. Samsung is already one of the best regarding software support, now the company wants to ensure it will have the best experience among flagship devices. We expect more details about the Galaxy S25 series to keep popping out in the coming days.
