ASUS is gearing up to introduce a new generation for its ROG Phone series. The new ROG Phone 9 series will be unveiled soon with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and today it has been spotted at the Geekbench ML test.
It’s unclear whether this is the ROG Phone 9 or the ROG Phone 9 Pro variant. In any case, the device scored an impressive 1,812 points in the TensorFlow Lite CPU Interference test. This test shows the device’s capabilities to manage neural network models. The listing further confirms the device comes with 24 GB of RAM. It is an appealing aspect of this gaming phone series. In terms of software, the smartphone runs Android 15 straight out of the box.
Considering the rumors, the ROG Phone 9 series will launch with LTPO OLED screens featuring a 185 Hz refresh rate. Both variants will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. We may see different versions in terms of storage and even RAM. The device had its design leaked in a set of renders that show an updated design and an AeroActive Cooler X Accessory.

ROG Phone 9 series Alleged Specifications
Based on leaks and rumors, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series will likely feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung Flexible LTPO AMOLED display. It will offer adaptive refresh rates from 1 to 120Hz, with options to upscale to 165Hz in settings or 185Hz in Game Genie mode. The screen is expected to reach 2,500 nits in brightness and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus protection for added durability.
In the camera department, the new flagships might include a 50MP Sony Lytia 700 main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 5MP macro camera. The Pro model may upgrade to a 32MP telephoto lens instead of the macro. Both models should have a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
