Realme GT7 Coming on April 23 with 7,200mAh Battery and Dimensity 9400+

Realme is gearing up to introduce a new flagship-killer smartphone under the Realme GT7 moniker. The new smartphone will join the trend of massive batteries with a huge 7,200 mAh battery. The info has been confirmed by Realme along with 100W fast-charging support. Realme also confirmed that the smartphone will be 8.25mm thick and weigh 203 grams. Although this isn’t the lighter smartphone around, these are great specs considering the huge battery.

Realme GT7 Specifications and Features Confirmed

The Realme GT7 will be launched in China on April 23rd. Naturally, the brand has been confirming some of its details to build the hype. According to Realme, the smartphone will challenge the “double crown” for performance and battery life under CNY 3,000 ($410). This is quite possible since the smartphone is confirmed with this huge battery capacity. It is also said to sport the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. MediaTek’s latest flagship SoC on steroids has been revealed this month and the first flagships with it are expected to launch soon. According to leaker, Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT7 will come with a 144Hz BOE screen with narrow bezels. It will also include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP69 waterproof ratings.

Going back to the chipset, Realme’s Vice President, Chase Xu states that the more powerful Dimensity 9400+ gives the performance confidence of running 3 million+ on AnTuTu. The company also believes that the perfect way to create a balanced flagship is to deliver both performance and software optimization. In this regard, the smartphone is expected to excel in the competition. The phone will come with a new GT Performance Engine 2.0 tuning to benefit from the phone’s efficient architecture while also delivering maximum performance.

The executive also confirmed that the Realme GT7 will provide users with a smarter artificial intelligence experience. We don’t know exactly what that means. Perhaps, the company will bet on AI integrating AI solutions like DeepSeek plus the usual AI tuning for camera and other software features.

We expect more details to keep popping out in the next 9 days ahead of the launch. The smartphone wil join the Realme GT7 Pro.
