A new update regarding the Realme 14T reveals the smartphone’s appearance on AliExpress even before its launch. This listing provides important information about the device. Nevertheless, some details differ from the previously leaked information. This is what we know up to this point.
Realme 14T Appears on AliExpress Ahead of Official Launch
The Realme 14T smartphone is set to have a dual SIM option, alongside 5G enabled connectivity. The device will have an OLED screen measuring 6.6 inches with the resolution 1080 x 2340 as well as 120 Hz refresh rate. This will provide clear visuals which are helpful for gaming, as well as multimedia use.
The device will feature a battery of 5,080 mAh. SuperVOOC fast charging of 100W will also be supported, allowing for faster recharging. The device will also possess IP68 and IP69K ratings, making it water and dust resistant.
The Realme 14T is expected to have a dual camera setup, featuring a 50 MP main sensor, and a 32 MP front camera. However, information regarding the additional camera units is unclear.
Contradicting Reports on Specs
This new information differs from previous leaks. Earlier speculation matched a 6.67 inch OLED panel, which is larger than the 6.6 inch display on record.
Allegations also stated that the phone would feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 8GB of RAM and storage options of either 128GB or 256GB. Those specs have not been verified by the listing on AliExpress.
There is also ambiguity concerning the battery. Earlier reports had a 6,000mAh battery that charged at 45W. The latest listing, however, has a 5,080mAh battery charging at 100W. These discrepancies indicate that there are likely multiple editions of the Realme 14T.
Confirmed Launch Date and Further Details
Expected reveal for the Realme 14T would be set around April 2024 for now, but a lot of leaks around it might warrant a while for final statement. Those statements will flesh out specs and pricing alongside the event reveal.
