A member of the royal family in the ancient city of Calabar,namely Prince Ekeng Inyang,  out of an apparent disillusionment against the policies of the ruling party, the PDP, went to a social media platform to vent his disappointment against the political class, both in the state and beyond. 


He expresses why he will not be casting his ballot in favour of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP). His reaction is categorised under basic themes. Read below in his exact words:

JONATHAN & OIL
‘…That Ijaw man collected our only source of revenue (76 oil wells) and gave to another State without any political compensation’. 


HIGH TAXATION
Today the government of the State has to make expenditure and so they resolve to high taxation.


CRUMBLING INDUSTRIALISATION
Companies that were cited in CRS went backrupt, others simply ran.

YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT
High level of unemployment in CRS and our youths who summoned courage and made alot of sacrifices to start up busineses can’t do so well because of the old crooks who are always there to oppress with tax.


What other evil do we expect?

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
No single Federal project to sustain the people. 
Cross River State that was brought into the world map by His Excellency the former governor, Mr Donald Duke is now an abandoned site.

CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
The commercial transporters are being victimized by the government because government must generate funds by all means yet forsakes it’s primary responsibilities of making those roads motorable.

CRIME
Graduates have now officially turned political thugs because that’s the only place they eat from.

Yet this set of poverty-striken people, victimized, oppressed, bewitched, mal-treated are now the ones who repel against change just because the PDP Government have decided to print T-shirts and give to them to trek under hot sun in the name of campaign. 


Shebi I dey here…I will still hear una complain.

DEFENCE FOR BUHARI
As for me…I will vote change.
I will vote Muhhamadu Buhari. ..that Hausa man that you say has no certificate and he is old.
Why? 
He had once proven he could change things and his love for the downtrodden. 
The fact the rich thieves don’t want us to uncover.
I still believe in him.


The weaknesses of his youthful life has been strengthen by age.

The building block of any nation is the home. A corrupt nation is a reflection of a corrupt home. Character begins at home. The values people learn at home is what they show when they are leaders. What happens at home is not a private matter. In other words, the influence of the home extends beyond it. So if you are a parent, remember that if you are not bringing up your children in the right way, you are contributing to the ruin of your country. Be wise!

We are where we are today because of what we did or didn't do in the past and we will be where we will be in the future because of what we do or don't do today! Preparation is very important, the things we call luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity! Be wise!

Think about the 'mountain' as a vision and the 'stone' as goals. In effect, we  can understand the proverb as saying, in order to achieve any great vision we must break it down into smart goals. Goals are very crucial to any vision. They transform insurmountable mountains into workable hills. The proverb could also be interpreted as saying, we should not be discouraged by our dreams but rather be determined in our desire. Just take things one step at a time and little by little you will get there, if you don't give up!

Great leadership flows from good followers hip! If you are not a good follower, you won't make a good leader. Followers hip is not just a subordinate position- it is a stepping stone to leadership position. Good followers are those who support the leader when he /she is doing the right thing and speak up in a respectful way when things are going wrong. Good followers are able to get along with those of different personalities and perspectives, while not ignoring these differences. A leader must be able to manage people with different characteristics.

Change in lifestyle and culture is not static, it revolves with time same with fashion. There is always a wear for every season. Don't be left behind get the latest fashion and update yourself.
