  • SECURITY NEWS : Boko Haram May Abduct More School Girls, Security Expert Warns.

It is now more than a year since the Chibok school girls were abducted in Borno State of Nigeria and the BRING BACK OUR GIRLS CAMPAIGN spearheaded by Oby Ezekwesili and other well meaning Nigerian women and mothers who all took to the streets of major roads in Lagos and Abuja protesting for the intervention of the Nigerian Government and her security agents , the latter, of whom they pleaded should go for a rescue operation of the abducted girls. Judging by what is now evident we therefore say without fear of contradiction, that all efforts (if indeed there were any) made to rescue the girls all proved abortive.

This consequently have resulted in most Nigerians to have unconsciously forgotten these girls in the hands of those dare devils known as Boko Haram as though they (the girls) were mere toys rather than Human.

The voices that cried during the Bring back our girls campaign seems to have all retired to their houses as there appears to be no hope and clue to the exact where abouts of the over 200 girls despite the so called rumour of them being held in the Sambissa forest.!

We have not still recovered from that unfortunate incidence another bombshell is now about to fall as if to.’add insult upon injury’ that the same Boko Boys are about to launch another deadly blow.

It is now being reported by a security experts, Dr. Ona Ekhomu, who has warned that the Boko Haram insurgents may abduct more school girls from North East, unless proactive school security measures are put in place to forestall such occurrence.

In his words.. “going by the world wide publicity and notoriety that the insurgents got from kidnapping more than 200 school girls in Chibok.  Borno state,  the controversial leader of the group, Abubakar Shekau was likely to launch such attack again with the aim of calling attention to his group despite its apparent defeat by the Nigerian military”.

In a statement issued in Lagos head of the first anniversary of the mass abduction of the girls, Ekhomu, who is president of the association of the Industrial Security And Safety 0perators Of Nigeria. (AISSON), called for the creation of standards of security to harden educational institutions against fresh terrorist attacks.

He challenged school authorities and state Government in the north to urgently design security master plans for schools in order to safeguard students and Teachers from more terrorist attacks.

Dr. Ekhomu, who described the plight of the Chibok girls as TRAGIC said : ” I’m sure that most of the girls have been given away to terrorist commanders or sold off as wives or sex slaves by Shekau”.

wether the above argument by Ekhomu is true or not, only time will tell. We therefore enjoin all stake holders to be security sensitive so as to defeat these dare Devil commandoes called Boko Haram.  Further details will emerge in succession later.

  • ENTERTAINMNET: Kanye West compares his ego to an umovable table in his home

    By William Oyo-Ita 11 April 2015 5:10am

    Speaking with New York Times’ T magazine, Kanye compared his big ego with a table he hated that was in his home and credits Kim and his daughter for taming his arrogance. He said;

“I feel like now I have an amazing wife, a super-smart child and the opportunity to create in two major fields. Before I had those outlets, my ego was all I had.’

“I have this table in my new house. They put this table in without asking. It was some weird Nouveau riche marble table, and I hated it. But it was literally so heavy that it took a crane to move it. We would try to set up different things around it, but it never really worked. I realized that table was my ego. No matter what you put around it, under it, no matter who photographed it, the douchebaggery would always come through.’
Speaking further, Kanye said his focus is now on conquering the fashion world…

I dreamed, since I was a little kid, of having my own store where I could curate every shoe, sweatshirt and color,’ he explained.

‘I have sketches of it. I cried over the idea of having my own store.’

  • NEWS: Prison guards resign after pic of beaten up inmate dragged around like a dog goes viral

    By William Oyo-Ita 10 April 2015 9;26pm

Two Georgia prison guards resigned yesterday after this photo of a beaten teenage inmate with a leash around his neck was posted on Facebook last week. The photo was posted from the prison by one of the inmates with a contraband cellphone

    Via NBC News

Authorities also said two prisoners involved in the March 27 incident were transferred out of the Al Burruss Correctional Training Center and the victim, Cortez Berry, is now in protective custody at another state prison. The Department of Corrections did not disclose the officers’ names or say whether they faced discipline before resigning.

Berry’s family told NBC News last week that when they saw the disturbing pictures posted on Facebook and went to the prison to investigate, the guards were unaware that he had been beaten.
The relatives were horrified that Berry was initially transferred to Smith State Prison, a notoriously violent lockup. Correction officials portrayed that as an emergency stopgap measure.

Berry is now within protective custody at Macon State Prison, the agency said in a statement.

“In our continued efforts for the safety of our inmates, the Department transferred the other two inmates involved to other facilities. Additionally, both supervising officers involved in the incident have resigned.”

The incident is still under investigation, the statement said.

Berry was imprisoned at Burruss for violating probation on charges of juvenile aggravated assault, robbery and car theft.
He told his aunt that the day before his 18th birthday, a group of fellow inmates tried to get him to join a gang called the Gangster Disciples, and when he refused they attacked him and took the photo.
“No guard was there to help him,” the aunt, Shavondria Wright, told NBC News.
The case highlighted both violence in Georgia prisons and the growing use of smuggled cellphones by inmates, sometimes to commit crimes.

  • NEWS : Another Obituary, 4 Nigerian Students Discovered Lifeless In Georgia.

    By Nelson Amaobi Osuala
    10.04.2015 , 11:51pm

It is no longer news that there is an alarming rate of mortality in Africa. Sometimes we cannot stop but wonder whether It is not the case that the Almighty has forgotten the African continent with particular focus of our dear country Nigeria.

Today, the media is replete with different cases of deaths either by murder or manslaughter. Others are cases of suicide, Genocide, patricide, matricide, etc as the list is endless.

It was barely three days ago since we informed our readers of the murder at the Hotel in Ghana were a supposed pastor was accused of murdering his 41 year old pregnant wife in a Hotel bath.  The story you are about to hear is about another death case to which we are careful in ascertaining conclusively the exact cause of death.

According to our Source , death has been announced of four (4) Nigerian Students in an apartment located at Vazha – Pshavela Avenue in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

Our respondent has it that three(3) of the boys were students of the Tbilisi State Medical University and the fourth of the University of Georgia.
According to the State’s Police report, the students died from gas poisoning alleged to have emanated from a faulty water heater in the apartment.

But my country people, ” shey you think say na true dis Police dem dey talk?” I am of the opinion that there is more to this story as reported by the Police.

Come to think of It,  ” wetin we Nigerians neva drink before sef? Shey na kerosine or na gutter water,  at least we drink dat one, wen we dey small. Na who go belief dat kind story say a typical Omo Naira, an aje past, to be precise, die from common ‘gas poison’ from water heater? Haba! Make una think am nah?

I am not suggesting that it is not possible for these youngsters to have lost their lives through gas poisoning , i am however challenging the logic of such reports with a view to obtaining a broadened horizon of the exact true story behind the incidence, as all things are not real as they may appear, chikina!

Going back to our story, friends of the victims who were also Nigerians were reported to have alerted the Police when they became worried sick for having not seen nor heard from their room mates all day to which they said was quite unusual.

They therefore called the police who broke into the students  apartment and found their bodies Lifeless. The bodies have been taken to the National Forensic Bureau to help carry out a Post Mortem.
We shall keep you updated as we gather further information.. Expect details later…
