Manchester United are looking to get back to their winning ways, pursuing targets like Vinicius Jr and Viktor Gyokeres to get back on top.
Ruud van Nistelrooy had his first game as interim manager following the sacking of Erik ten Hag on Monday, marking the occasion with a 5-2 win over Leicester in the Carabao Cup.
With Ruben Amorim now set to start his role as permanent coach of United on 11th November, The Red Devils can look forward to the next transfer window to build the Portuguese manager’s squad.
Already there are reports that United are in a strong position to lure Gyokeres from Sporting to Old Trafford alongside Amorim.
Also, a cut-price deal for Alphonso Davies could see The Red Devis sign a quality left-back to fit Amorim’s playstyle. Failing this, Rayan Ait-Nouri has also been put on the cards, with Liverpool battling United for his signature.

However, possibly the most exciting new target is Vinicius Jr from Real Madrid.
The winger was expected by many to win the Ballon d’Or this year, however was just beaten by Manchester City’s Rodri.
Now, news from Spanish outlet Relevo has reported that Vini has snubbed Madrid’s recent attempts to engage in fresh contract negotiations, despite his contract ending in 2027.
This move from the Brazilian has put a lot of teams on high alert, including Manchester United and Chelsea.
