Launch Date Leaked, Color Options Revealed

Realme has begun to tease the release of the Realme 12 Pro Series of smartphones in several regions. The company has disclosed that the new Pro models will be unveiled later this month. According to a report from Appuals, the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will be launched in India on January 31. Both smartphones’ specifications and color choices have also been made public by the media outlet.

Realme 12 Pro Series RAM & storage, color variants

The variants of the Realme 12 Pro that are expected to be offered include 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, per the source. The shades of Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige will be the ones that are offered. While the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G will be available in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will come in three different colors: Submarine Blue, Navigator Beige, and Explorer Red. Unfortunately, the source makes no mention of the Realme 12 Pro series’ pricing.

The Realme 12 Pro+ will also have a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and 120x digital zoom. However, both of them include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, according to reports. A 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom may be included in the Pro variant.

The Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ may include a 16-megapixel and a 32-megapixel front camera, respectively, for selfies. Furthermore, both handsets are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipsets.
