Samsung is currently preparing the next-gen foldable smartphones. Previously, we used to get single Fold and Flip devices, but this year it might be different. There have been rumors circulating online that suggest Samsung may launch multiple fold devices this year. We previously covered the rumors regarding the Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. Now there is a new leak that has surfaced online and it reveals the key specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold FE and the Galaxy Z Flip FE.
The latest leak comes from @kro_roe [via Ithome], and it reveals a lot of details about the unannounced devices. For those unaware, the “FE” branded smartphones are “flagship-killer” devices that aim to bring top-notch deals for a cheaper price compared to the flagship. With the FE phones, cost-cutting measures are implemented while still maintaining some flagship elements.

Now that there have been generations of foldable devices stuck in the flagship category, Samsung might bring it to the masses with the FE branding. The leak suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold FE and Flip FE will utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen2 processor. While, for some markets, it may have an Exynos chip. The phones will come in configurations including 12/16GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.
Moreover, the leaker also reveals the dimensions of both the phones in the unfolded position. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE measures 67.1 × 155.1 × 15.8-14.2 mm. While the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE measures 71.9 × 165.2 × 6.9mm.
That said, this is just a leak for now, and hence should be taken with a pinch of salt. There is also a rumor surrounding the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. Time will tell if Samsung will launch the cheaper FE models or go extreme with the Ultra model. For now, there is still some time before things get more clear.
