Fisch has rolled out a new update bringing the infamous Orcas, also known as killer whales, into the game. Moreover, you get to see these fishes migrating from one side of the map to the other, resembling their actions in the real world as well. However, the Orca Migration event in Fisch is rare and if you want to make the most of it, you’re at the right place. Keep reading as we teach you how to complete the Orca Migration Fisch event and get yourself an Ancient Orca right here.
Orca Migration Event Location in Fisch
The orcas can be caught only during the Orca Migration hunt in Fisch, which lasts for 15 minutes. These events are very similar to the Megalodon and the Kraken hunt events. However, the only difference is the number of fish you can catch at once.
The Orca Hunt event starts at the very north side of the map behind the Arch at these coordinates: 825, 125, -3250. Once it starts, get a GPS in Fisch and head straight to the starting point using your fastest boat due to the time limit and the dynamic nature of this event.
A total of five Orcas will spawn at a single time at the starting point, and they will collectively move towards the southern part of the map, crossing the Arch, Moosewood, and Terrapin islands and finally the Terrapin Island.
However, you don’t need to worry because their movement speed is quite slow, and you can easily fish one if you don’t make many mistakes. Finally, this event will end either if the Orcas reach south at these coordinates: 825, 125, 5100, or if the players catch all of them.
How to Catch Orcas in Fisch
Now that you know where these Orcas spawn on the map, it’s time to find out how to catch them. Having reached the event’s starting point, bring out the best fishing rod you have.
The Orcas prefer Shark Heads as bait, and you can get them by opening Quality Bait Crates found at Terrapin Island for 525 cash. Consider redeeming the latest Fisch codes to get some Baits for free.
When it comes to conditions, there are three types of Orcas you will find during the migration event. That said, here are the three Orcas in Fisch and their ideal conditions:
Fish | Rarity | Weather | Time | Season | Preferred Bait |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Orca | Legendary | None | None | None | Shark Head |
Albine Orca | Legendary | None | None | None | Shark Head |
Ancient Orca | Secret | None | None | None | Shark Head |
Regarding the fishing rods, I would highly recommend using the Heaven’s Rod, or any other rod with high Resilience and Control. The sole reason for this is the -85% progress speed effect placed on your rod while reeling them in.
However, if you feel like using any other rod, make sure you have the Resilient enchantment on them to boost up your Resilience stats. Do note that the Ancient Orca is a secret fish in the game. These are extremely rare to get and can be caught only during the Albino Orca Hunt event.
