Fisch is up with another interesting update that brings a lot of new and limited fishes that look like something out of a mad scientist’s laboratory. All the fishes introduced in this update have the head of a certain animal while their body is completely fishy. Players will find these Fisch Animal Hunt fishes in both the first and second seas. Note: As of writing this, the Fisch Animal Hunt event has been live for an hour. As of now, we are still catching all Sea 1 animal fishes to finish the bestiary. Rest assured, we will update the list below with weather, time and bait conditions for all fishes as we get them.
Now, as you can guess, the First Sea 1 animals bestiary in Fisch will be found on the first Moosewood Island, where you first spawn in the game. While the Sea 1 animals in Fisch are spawning in random locations in the first sea, we do have some sort of a fix. In our experience, it’s best to head off toward Roslit Bay, located to the West of Moosewood.
In certain intervals, a text message will appear on top stating that “An Animal Pool has spawned near the area.” So once it happens, make sure you are ready with your boat to explore the nearby waters.
Since time is of the essence here, consider all the best Fisch rods to catch the 10 fishes in this bestiary. Compared to the Sea 2 animals bestiary, you will find the fishes here to be stronger and harder to catch. With that said, here is the list of the Sea 1 Animal fishes

Best Tips and Tricks to Complete Sea 1 Animals Bestiary in Fisch
The Sea 1 Animals bestiary is filled with strong fishes that will put a heavy progress speed penalty on your rod once hooked. Therefore, you will need some of the best fishing rods in Fisch with good Resilience and Lure speed to get them faster than all other players:
1. Best Rods for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary
One of the best choices to go with during this event is the Ethereal Prism Rod or the Seraphic Rod if you have crossed the level cap of 1000. Furthermore, you can consider using the Rod of the Forgotten Fang or the Tempest Rod as well due to their impressive passives. While the former gives you a free fish on every three perfect catches, the latter will reduce the progress speed a lot.
For the beginners and mid game players I would recommend going with the Rod of the Depths or the No-Life Rod for a faster completion.
2. Best Baits for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary
Talking about baits, there are a good variety of these in the first sea, including the Seaweeds, Corals, Deep Corals or the Rapid Catchers. While the first three will boost up your Resilience stat, the last one will help you increase the Lure Speed if you want instant catches.
You will need the first three baits for all the rods that have Lure above 90 and the last Rapid Catcher bait for the Rod of the Depths. Consider spending some time in the Fisch AFK Mine or redeem the latest Fisch codes for some easy and free baits.
3. Use the Best Enchants for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary
Coming to what enchants to apply to the rods we have mentioned above, you can go with Steady, Blessed Song, Quality, or Resilient. All the enchants except Resilient are for the higher tier rods as they are well balanced and don’t require a lot of boosts in their stats.
While for the Rod of the Depths and the No-Life Rod, you can consider the Resilient enchant, since both of them lack in that particular aspect.
4. Best Rod, Bait, and Enchant Combo for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary
Finally, you can use a combination of Ethereal Prism Rod with the Steady/Blessed Song Enchant and Corals as baits. This is a perfect build to catch all the fishes as soon as possible. Although, this is for all the end-game players, there might be a different combination that worked for your.
