These blobs are called Sprites, which can be more than just a wholesome creature you hold. Want one for yourself? Keep reading and learn how to catch Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 and what their powers are.
All Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1
There are three types of Sprites in Fortnite right now. However, you can catch only two types of Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Air Sprite and Water Sprite. Here is a list of all the Sprites and their powers in Fortnite Chapter 6:
- Air Sprites create updraft whirls capable of propelling players with gliders and inflicting structural damage. Place in a Sprite Shrine to unlock the Wind Boon, granting increased movement speed while mining.
- Hurl a Water Sprite to summon a fountain that heals, replenishing health and shielding nearby players. If you turn the Water Sprite into the Shrine, it will give you a Water Boon that increases health regeneration for you and your team while swimming near Sprite Shrines.
- Offer an item to the Earth Sprite and expect a valuable reward.
How to Catch Sprites in Fortnite
Sprites are roaming all over the Fortnite Chapter 6 map. So, finding these little blobs can get a bit hard for you. Well, there is a simple way to locate them. To find the Sprites in Fortnite, go to a Sprite Shrine and interact with it. This will reveal all the nearby Sprites.
Once you locate them, go towards them quickly and click the Interact button. Remember that these little creatures are fast enough to escape your grip. I recommend using the dash slide to easily get hold of them.
After you have captured the Sprite, you will have three chances to use them. However, you can also turn them into the Sprite Shrine for the permanent Boon. Just make sure you don’t waste up the use by dropping them at your feet like I did.
