The Fisch Second Sea Update has been a massive boon to all the Fischers since it gives you a completely new chance at leveling up your game in a whole new location. This way, most of the early-stage players and mid-game adventurers don’t need to do that massive grind to get better rods for catching new Exotics and Secrets. The Second Sea in Fisch also houses a new permanent hunt event where you can catch the Exotic Sea Leviathan. Since figuring out how it spawns can be tricky, we have brought a comprehensive guide to teach you how to catch the Sea Leviathan in Fisch here.
Sea Leviathan Location in Fisch
The Sea Leviathan hunt event is exclusive to the Second Sea of Fisch. So, to catch this one, you must be at least level 250 and above. Once this requirement is met, head towards the Terrapin island to defeat the Cthulhu boss and get to the Second Sea.
Do note that the Sea Leviathan event is similar to the Orca and Whale migration event. Therefore, it travels from one location to the other, and its spawn rate is affected by totems. All you need is a big stash of Smokescreen and Tempest/Windset Totems.
The Sea Leviathan has a 5% chance of spawning on a Foggy night. So, keep spamming Smokescreen and Tempest (or Windset) totems alternatively to increase the chances of spawning this beast.
Furthermore, notice the text messages that appear on top of your screen. The moment a message appears stating that “A Sea Leviathan has spawned near (Island Name)“, get ready with your boat to head towards that area. Keep in mind that the beast can spawn near any island. However, for most of the cases we tried catching the creature, it followed the given path:
- Starting at XYZ: 4183, 77, 3305 and ending at XYZ: -2046, 77, -142
- Starting at XYZ: -2047, 77, -1794 and ending at XYZ: 2768, 77, 3531
Make sure you grab a GPS in Fisch from Moosewood in the first sea so that you don’t face any trouble in locating the coordinates. One last tip before you move on is that if you notice several pink blocks at random points on the Second Sea, then this is the specific path the Leviathan will follow once it has spawned.
How to Catch the Sea Leviathan in Fisch
Now that you have successfully spawned the Sea Leviathan in your server, use a Fish Radar to get a clearer view of the boundaries where you can catch it. The area will be in the shape of a triangle moving forward. As such, you should be on the move too with your boat and prepare yourself with the right fishing rods and baits. Here are the following conditions this fish prefers:
- Favorite Bait: Luminous Larva
- Weather: Foggy
- Time: Any
- Season: Spring
Stacking a decent amount of luck will be a great idea if you want to get that creature quickly. Since it’s an Exotic, consider using an Aurora Totem along with Merlin’s Luck, or purchase the Eldritch Bundle pack and Double Server Luck for 799 and 99 Robux at the game store.
Best Fishing Rods to Catch the Sea Leviathan
The Sea Leviathan will apply a -90% progress speed penalty while reeling it in with your rod. Therefore, I would recommend using a high-resilience rod along with a good control stat. Here are a few suggestions from my side, along with what enchants and baits to use with them:
- Azure of Lagoon Rod: Preferred for its high resilience and stabbing ability. Apply the Hasty or Steady enchant and use the Seaweed or Coral as baits
- Ethereal Prism Rod: Preferred for its passive mutation. Apply the Steady enchant and use Luminous Larva or Deep Coral as baits.
- Free Spirit Rod: Preferred for its stabbing ability. Apply the Steady or Hasty enchant and use Deep Coral or Luminous Larva as baits.
- Seraphic Rod: Preferred for its passive laser beam. Apply the Steady or Resilient (or Mystical) enchant and use Deep Coral or Coral as baits.
Furthermore, if you are lucky enough to get the Song of the Deep Relic in Fisch, you can always place the Blessed Song enchant instead of applying Steady to your rods. The Luminous Larva baits can be collected by spending a whole lot of time inside the Fisch AFK Mine, or you can use the latest Fisch codes to redeem some free baits.
So, that’s how you can spawn and catch the Sea Leviathan in Fisch easily. Did you find our steps helpful, or have you already caught this beast? Let us know in the comments below!
