Mirage is one of the simple left-clickers in Deadlock, but its damage scaling takes quite some time. However, you can optimize his damage with the right items and ability selection. That is why we have compiled Mirage’s best items and abilities in our Deadlock build guide here. This guide will help you become a stronger player with this hero, and you will get more victories. So, with that, let’s begin!
Best Mirage Item Build in Deadlock
Note: You can find this build in Deadlock by searching ‘Beebom Mirage Build‘ (ID: 168297) in the Public Builds section. You can either directly use our guide or copy it and edit it as per your need, from the game’s Browse Build section.
Best Early Game Items
To dominate the lane as Mirage, you can start with Rapid Rounds and Mystic Burst. If you are farming well, then get Soul Shredder Bullets right away. Otherwise, increase your small ammo pool with Ammo Scavenger.
You can also increase your movement with Sprint Boots and get more sustainability with Extra Regen. If the regen is not enough, get Healing Rite early on.
Best Core/Mid-Game Items
Fire rate helps you stack passive faster, which is why Swift Striker early can help you deal a lot of damage, which is amplified even more with Mystic Vulnerability. You can add Quicksilver Reload to your scarabs for the constant flow of Djin’s Mark and gun damage.
Upgrade boots to Enduring Speed if you plan to gank the jungle or other lanes. With Improved Burst, your passive will deal even more damage. However, you will start scaling once you have Burst Fire for more attacks and Return Fire for more defense capabilities.
Best Late Game Items
As soon as you enter late game stages, get Toxic Bullets, Surge of Power, and Improved Spirit to participate more in fights. If you have a flex slot open, then get Arcane Surge. In a hard game, you can switch the surge for Siphon Bullets or Leech early on for more survivability. You can also amp up your headshot damage with the Spellslinger Headshots.
Mirage Luxury Items
6200 Souls | 6200 Souls | 6200 Souls |
---|---|---|
When you have enough soul, you can get luxury items that will help you close the game. If the enemy team sticks closer, Ricochet will be your perfect item. However, Silence and Boundless Spirit early on can be a game changer for more solo fights or even aggressive chases.
Silencer gives you a lot of tank ability, and its buildup can stop enemies from using abilities while they take more spirit damage.
Mirage Situational Items
If you are hitting a good Tornado every time a gank happens, then get Spirit Snatch, and with the guaranteed melee, you can lower enemy spirit resistance. You can also get the Diviner’s Kevlar if you are ganking more often. To slow down enemies early on, you can get Mystic Slow and Cold Front and combine them with your passive. Buy Decay if the enemy team has too much healing.
Deadlock Mirage Build: Abilities and Unlock Order
Here is a detailed overview of all Mirage abilities and the Ability Point Order in which you must unlock the abilities in Deadlock:
All Mirage Abilities
- Fire Scarabs: Start launching fire scarabs. Each scarab can be launched separately, stealing max health from enemies and applying bullet resist reduction. Cannot apply multiple scarabs to the same enemy. The health gain from hitting heroes is 3x as effective as against non-heroes.
- Level 1: -15s Cooldown
- Level 2: -10% Bullet Resist
- Level 3: +80 Max HP Steal Per Bullet
- Tornado: Transform yourself into a tornado that travels forward, damaging enemies and lifting them up in the air. After emerging from the tornado, you gain bullet evasion.
- Level 1: +0.4s Lift Duration
- Level 2: -14s Cooldown
- Level 3: +20% Bullet Evasion Chance
- Djinn’s Mark: Your shots apply an increasing multiplier on the target. When the multiplier on a target expires, or you reach the max, it’s consumed, and the target suffers Spirit Damage and is briefly revealed on the map. The final damage is the base damage times the multiplier. You can press the ability button to deal damage by consuming the stacks.
- Level 1: Apply 80% Slow for 0.5s whenever you apply a 2x multiplier or higher
- Level 2: +4.0s Multiplier Duration and +10 Base Damage
- Level 3: -0.75s Cooldown Between Multiplier and +4 Max Multiplier
- Traveler: Target an ally or visible enemy hero on the minimap, then teleport to where they were when your channel started. After teleporting, you gain move speed as well as fire rate until your next reload.
- Level 1: +2m Move Speed
- Level 2: -55s Cooldown
- Level 3: On arrival, become Immune to Stun, Silence, Sleep, Root, and Disarm for 3s.
Mirage Ability Point Order
Djin’s mark is what makes Mirage a proper carry hero in Deadlock. His passive deals huge damage when you scale it with the right items. That is why it is important to max Djin’s Mark first. With T3 on it, you will get a +4 max multiplier, which will deal even more burst spirit damage. To compliment it, upgrade your scarabs simultaneously. This will allow you to steal life from all the enemies you hit, giving you more sustainability.
Mirage’s ultimate is not that great, as it only lets you teleport to an enemy or ally on the map. However, once you have enough damage and items, you can use it to get to locations faster. Remember to maximize Tornado levels first before putting points in your ultimate.
