Daredevil Born Again: Release Date, Trailer, Cast & More

The first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has been released, and the trailer showed us the return of Jon Bernthal in the role of The Punisher and Vincent D’Onofrio’s return as The Kingpin, but this time around, he is the Mayor of New York City. We also got the first look at the cinematic debut of the villain named Muse. There’s a lot to unpack in the series, so let’s wait for its release to see The Man Without Fear in action after quite some time.

What Is the Cast of Daredevil Born Again

Daredevil Born Again is coming back with a lot of characters seen previously in Daredevil. Charlie Cox is, of course, making a return as Daredevil but with a new and much better-looking suit. Jon Bernthal will be seen returning in the role of Punisher. We will also see the return of Vincent D’Onofrio as The Kingpin. Daredevil Born Again will also bring us the first-ever live-action adaptation of the White Tiger played by Kamar de los Reyes.

In other returning characters it has been confirmed that Ayelet Zurer will make a return as Vanessa Fisk, Elden Henson will appear as Foggy Nelson and Deborah Ann Woll will appear as Karen Page. The return of these characters where not expected by the fans since both of them were shown to be dead in Season 3 of Daredevil. However, some set photos of Daredevil Born Again were leaked which showed both of them present on the sets confirming their return or the scenes featuring them could just be flashbacks.

After a long time, we will get to see Wilson Bethel in the role of Daredevil’s arc nemesis Benjamin Poindexter, AKA Bullseye. Other than these actors and their characters, Margarita Levieva has also been cast for Daredevil Born Again in an undisclosed role.

What Is the Plot of Daredevil Born Again

As of now, the official plot of Daredevil Born Again has not been revealed to us. However, if we look at the plot followed by the comic book counterpart of the title, the plot revolves around the aftermath of Daredevil’s identity being revealed to Kingpin by Karen Page. He comes after Matt Murdock’s personal life trying to destroy every level of it by sabotaging his relationships, career, and his very will to stay alive. Since the plot of the series is not available to us we can’t say for certain that it will follow the same plot so we’ll have to wait and see what happens in the series.
