C’River State Government To Train 12,000 Teachers

The Cross River State Government through the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) is set to train 12,000 primary school teachers across the state.

The Executive Chairman, Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Senator Stephen Odey said the training will keep teachers abreast of emerging trends in the basic education sector.

Sen. Odey disclosed that the training exercise will be decentralized in other to enhance participation of teachers in all nooks and crannies of the State.

He commended Governor Ben Ayade for his constant contribution to the development of the education sector through training and re-training of teachers and provision of learning facilities.

The training will be conducted by high-level facilitators and members of the academia.
