Being able to condition your opponent into doing what you want them to while making them think it was their idea is the hallmark of a powerful fighting game player, and this certainly seems to fall into that category.
Broski has been going in harder than arguably anyone else in the world with A.K.I. in Street Fighter 6, and he recently shared a clip as to how well he was able to bait someone else during a match into his perfect poison trap.
After knocking the opposing Master-ranked Zangief down and poisoning them, Broski backs off and boldly proclaims “watch me bait out the level 2 Super.”
He then proceeds to toss out four seemingly unsafe fireballs in a row to which the grappler player happily obliges.
Zangief’s Cyclone Lariat may counter projectiles and be currently bugged to be almost safe on block, but that doesn’t help him at all when Broski had the Overdrive Snake Step lying in wait to immediately get behind him.
That Super whiff gives Broski just enough time to set down another poison puddle and get the full punish counter combo into A.K.I.’s level 3 Super to take off over half of Gief’s big health bar in one go.

While the whole exchange is rather impressive, that doesn’t really make A.K.I. suddenly a top tier contender in the roster, especially since he had to burn all of her resources and still couldn’t quite get the K.O. in the big punish.
Watching Broski, however, shows the potential she does have in the hands of those willing to put in the time and effort, so we’re still quite keen to learn what all A.K.I. can do in larger competitive settings.
