IT Home checked the refurbished page of Apple’s online mall and found no Mac Studio products. Apple is expected to follow up and launch refurbished models in China in the future.
The entry-level M2 Max Mac Studio with 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD is priced at $1,699 (IT House Note: currently about 12,420 yuan), which is $300 less than the standard price of $1,999; the base model M2 with 64GB RAM and 1TB SSD The price of the Ultra machine is $3,399 (currently about 24,847 yuan), which is $600 less than the regular price of $3,999.
Apple currently offers a variety of refurbished M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips for consumers to choose from, depending on configuration and starting price. The discount ranges from US$300 to US$1,300, which is basically equivalent to a 15% discount.
All of Apple’s refurbished Macs are nearly identical to the new ones. They need to go through a refurbishment process that includes complete functional testing, replacement of any defective modules, and thorough cleaning and inspection. Refurbished products are eligible for AppleCare+ and have the same 14-day return period as new Apple devices.
