Pokemon GO Raid Hour Schedule for May 2024

In Raid Hours, the Pokemon you fight can always have a chance of turning up as shiny. So, if you ever wanted to add a shiny to your Pokemon GO Pokedex, these raids are something you should target. For May, except for Blacephalon and Stakataka, all the Pokemon have a higher chance of turning up as shiny. Here are the dates. Remember, these randomly appear at a gym every Wednesday from 6:00 pm local time to 7:00 pm local time.
- Registeel (May 1)
- Tapu Fini (May 8 and May 15)
- Regirock (May 22)
- Blacephalon on Western Hemisphere (May 29) – Non Shiny
- Stakataka in the Eastern Hemisphere (May 29) – Non Shiny
What Is a Pokemon GO Raid?
For the uninitiated, raids are big online battles where a strong Pokemon spawns at a gym randomly for an hour with fixed timings. During this time, players nearby can party up and try taking out the Pokemon in question. Successfully defeating them rewards players with the raid Pokemon and additional rewards like XP, Stardust, more Pokeballs, etc.
To take part in a raid, you need a Raid Pass. You’ll generally get these passes by spinning Photo Disc at a gym. Once obtained, use the Raid Pass at an active event to use the item. Furthermore, while you need to be physically present at the raid area to perform Raid Battles, a payable Remote Raid Pass allows you to play remotely. It costs 195 PokeCoins per pass.
And that is the entire roadmap for the May 2024 Raid Battles in Pokemon GO. Let us know if you will be taking part in these battles in the comments below.
