The Governor Elect of Cross River State, Senator BASSEY Otu has charged Crossriverians to show love to one another as a significant component of patriotism.
In a statement signed by Otu, it reads;
Easter is a season to deeply reflect on the selfless sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ for the redemption of mankind.
It is a period of sober reflection of what the human race would have been without sincere and sacrificial love as examplified by the death of Christ on the cross over 2000 years ago.
As we comemorate this important day, I urge you, dear Cross Riverians to learn from our Lord by showing love to one another and exhibiting true spirit of patriotism to our State and nation.
