Genshin Impact 5.4: Dream Eater’s Melancholia Mission Guide

Genshin Impact 5.4 has dropped and it takes players back to Inazuma in a new adventure across dreams. This update introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, who runs the Aisa Bathhouse. The Traveler decides to help Mizuki restore to its former glory and learn more about the competition Emura Ichigensai. All of this takes place during Yumemizuki Mizuki’s story quest. Part 1: Meet with Yumemizuki Mizuki

First, you will have to meet Yumemizuki Mizuki to start the Dream Eater’s Melancholia mission.

• Head to Narukami Islands in Inazuma. Reach the quest marker area to find a little Youkai.
• Follow the Youkai to find Yumemizuki Mizuki. Speak with her and then head to the Aisa Bathhouse. Speak with Aikawa Susumu and enter the Bathhouse.
• Speak with Mizuki and expand all the dialogues. Finally, follow Mizuki to the room and sit on the stool.

Part 2: Participate in Mizuki’s Therapy

Now you will have to complete Yumemizuki Mizuki’s therapy session.

• Move the screen up and down to nod at Yumemizuki Mizuki.
• Next, Mizuki will ask you to keep your eyes closed. You can either open your eyes or keep them closed, which will slightly change the interaction.
• Then, you will have to find three Youkais from a painting. The locations are given in the images below.
• Finally, press the attack button to hold Mizuki’s hand to end the therapy.

Part 3: Learn about Emura Ichigensai

Next, you will have to learn about Emura Ichigensai to progress the quest.

• First, head to the marked location of Emura Ichigensai.
• Speak with Umihiko and Susukida to learn more about the new bathhouse.
• Wait for your turn and a dream sequence will reveal key details about the quest.
• Head back to Aisa Bathhouse and speak with Mizuki. Complete all the dialogues and head to the marked area to find Mizuki again. This will end the Crisis at the Aisa Bathhouse quest.
• Wait until 08:00-12:00 and then return to Aisa Bathhouse. Here you will find the bath attendants sick. Head back to Umihiko and Susukida to learn about their predicament.
• Now visit Yae Miko at the designated marker and learn about the location of Emura Ichigensai.
• Reach Emura Ichigensai’s house and enter the domain to proceed with the mission.

Part 4: Descendant of the Nightmares

After entering Emura Ichigensai’s house, you will have to search for him and defeat him to complete the quest.

• Head deeper into the domain until you find enemies. Defeat the enemies to progress the quest. After that, Emura Ichigensai will appear and you will learn that the culprit behind this is Kuroyume. Follow it into the domain.
• When you come across a wide gap between two platforms, use Mizuki’s Elemental skill to glide across to the other platform. Press the Elemental Skill button again once you are above to platform to cancel it. Move to the next platform similarly or by gliding and continue heading deeper.
• Next, you will come across an area where you cannot be in a straight line of sight to Kuroyume. Use the barriers on the path to hide from Kuroyume and use Mizuki’s Elemental skill to jump platforms.
• Find the two resonance of sweet dreams along the way and finally instigate a fight with Kuroyume.
• Defeat the multiple enemies and then use Traveler to defeat Kuroyume.

Part 5: Check Aisa Bathhouse

Finally, you can complete the quest line by paying the Aisa Bathhouse a final visit.

• Wait till 6:00 to progress the quest and head over to Aisa Bathhouse.
• This place will now be filled with customers again. Speak with Mizuki to finally end the Mizuki story chapter.
