Footballing legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has offer support to his former Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford amid the England internationals recent club woes.
The 27-year-old has been dropped from the squad since their 2-1 win over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League at the start of December.
Ruben Amorim’s decision to drop Rashford in the next game, the Manchester Derby, was a massive move by the new manager.
Since then, Manchester United news has been dominated by the saga of Marcus Rashford’s future either at the club or away from it.
Rashford announced shortly after the Derby that he was ready for a new challenge away from Old Trafford, and hasn’t stepped on the pitch since.
United are now bracing themselves for life without Rashford, listing the star for sale and being open to loan offers, which seems like the most realistic option in January.
However, with Rashford on a £325,000 per week salary, the implications of his wages are providing a huge factor in clubs steering clear of the United striker.
Already teams like Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have declined interest due to the costly wages, whilst AC Milan are open to a loan with option to buy is United can support with meeting his salary while on loan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic suggests Marcus Rashford for AC Milan
Now, reports from FourFourTwo have revealed that Milan’s interest in Rashford has come from his former teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The report explains that with Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic both injured, Milan are struggling with firepower up front.
As such, the club have turned to their former star-turned-advisor with option to fill the gap in the squad.
Ibrahimovic is reported to have suggested Rashford, having played together for two years between 2016 and 2018 at the start of Rashford’s time with the senior squad.
