Zangief keeps his opponent off the ground for over 10 seconds with this bonkers Street Fighter 6 juggle combo

As the OG grappler, Zangief has traditionally been a Street Fighter character who relies more on singular hits and short sequences as opposed to longer combos. Street Fighter 6, however, offers particularly creative combo potential thanks to Drive Rush and various supers, and the Russian Cyclone can take full advantage.

Lab monster Javits Arias decided to truly test out Gief’s juggling potential, and came up with a combo that sees the character launch his foe into the air and keep them airborne for over 10 seconds. You’ll probably need to see it to fully believe it, and you can do so by hitting the jump below.

First off, this combo is not easy. Javits is known for pulling off ridiculous sequences on the regular, but even here he needed to resort to a little editing magic to make the clip look as snazzy as possible. He begins with a sort of practical set up, but you’ll notice a slight edit between the intro and the start of the actual combo.

The beat down begins as Gief predicts a wake up Drive Reversal from his foe, which he jumps back to avoid. Both characters are relatively close to the corner, so Gief remains in range to land a charged up dropkick and garner a wall bounce.

The opponent flies all the way to the opposite wall and then all the way back, giving Zangief the time to neutral jump and intercept them with a flying headbutt just before landing. He then goes into his Hellstab normal and immediately cancels into Cyclone Lariat, also known as his super 2.

Javits then sends the character into four consecutive Drive Rush cancels, juggling the opponent with more Hellstabs until Zangief passes under them and turns around. The combo concludes as Gief brings his foe back down to earth with his Aerial Russian Slam super.

The whole thing doles out over 6,100 damage, meaning the damage Gief did to initially knock his foe down could very well add up to enough to take the round at this point. Check it all out below and be sure to follow Javits on X for more crazy tech like this.
