Back in late August, Bandai Namco revealed that Leone Abbacchio would be the first DLC character for Season 2 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R. Earlier today, it was revealed that Yuya Fungami is slated to be the second DLC fighter of the season.
Yuya Fungami’s Stand is Highway Star, localized to Highway Go Go. Though Highway Go Go is said to have unimpressive fighting power, it has above average speed and excels at long distances.
During the trailer, Yuya mentions how Highway Go Go still remembers the scent of his opponent. This isn’t just Yuya trash talking as Highway Go Go is said to have an enhanced sense of smell.
Upon acquiring an enemy’s scent, Highway Go Go can automatically lock on to an opponent. He can even dismember and then reassemble himself to a closer position to the opponent upon doing so.
It seems that these attributes are reflected in Yuya Fungami’s trailer. Rather than fighting up close, Yuya’s combos rely on him juggling opponents with projectiles and other ranged attacks.
