Yaya Toure becomes the third player, after Nigerians Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha, to receive the honour twice.
The Ivorian and City midfielder showed an impressive performance that made his fans to make him an icon and voted him for the second time ahead of previous winner Algerian Yacine Brahimi; followed by Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ghanaian Andre Ayew and Senegalese Sadio Mane.
Yaya Toure posted this on his Twitter page to thank his fans and supporters.
