Erik ten Hag has come under fire over recent months amid concerns over Manchester United’s performances.
Thankfully United registered a win over Brentford this weekend, hopefully starting a winning streak with The Red Devils set to face Fenerbahce on 24th October with former manager Jose Mourinho at the helm.
Despite the win, ten Hag isn’t out of the woods yet, with United sat in eleventh place in the Premier League, needing to qualify for Champions League football next year to avoid a penalty with sponsors Adidas.
The United bosses are continuously acting proactively to consider potential replacements for ten Hag if they ultimately need to part ways with the Dutchman.
One name that has repeatedly come up is the former Barcelona manager, Xavi.

Now, reports have emerged claiming that Xavi would consider the role, but under one condition.
Xavi considers the Manchester United role
Contact has reportedly been made with the former Spanish midfielder, with Xavi making one request if he takes on the role.
The Daily Mail has reported that Xavi will consider the role, as long as the club sign Barcelona star Raphinha.
The Brazilian winger has been on incredible form this season so far, helping Hansi Flick’s side remain at the top of LaLiga.
In ten matches, the 27-year-old has registered five goals and seven assists, contributing to 12 of Barcelona’s 33 goals across their 10 games.
Barcelona were considering letting the Brazilian leave this summer, however are now enjoying his great run of form under their new head coach.
However, the Spanish side have reportedly said they’re happy to part ways with their winger for a fee of £83 million (€100 million).
Xavi believes that Raphinha would be an upgrade to Marcus Rashford, however, the England international is starting to find his form once more after having regular one-to-one sessions with assistant manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.
