Heads up! On February 17, Wyatt Russell’s other half, Meredith Hagner, shared some big news. The couple has just welcomed their second son into the world.
“Boone Joseph Russell,” Meredith penned on Instagram. The little one arrived on February 13, a week ahead of schedule. Weighing in at a healthy 8 pounds 3 oz, he’s already bringing so much joy. “Hearts overflowing,” she added.
But wait, there’s more. The family of Wyatt Russell is growing yet again. The star of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” is now a proud father of two. He spilled the beans to E! News’ Justin Sylvester and Carolina Bermudez.
In a sneak peek of the night’s episode, Wyatt shared some tidbits about their firstborn, Buddy. The 2-year-old is as ready as he can be for his new role as a big brother. “He just kind of rolls with the tide and see what comes,” Wyatt explained.
Buddy knows there’s a baby on the way, but the reality might still surprise him. “When the baby actually comes out, he’s gonna be like, ‘Oh my god, that’s a real thing!’” Wyatt predicted. (For more juicy details from Wyatt’s interview, tune into E! News on Thursday, Nov. 16.)
The new arrival is joining a pretty big family. Wyatt’s dad is Kurt Russell, and his mom is Goldie Hawn. Plus, he’s got half-siblings Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson.
A bit of backstory: Wyatt and Meredith, 36, first crossed paths on the set of their 2016 flick “Folk Hero & Funny Guy.” They got hitched in 2018 during a getaway to the family’s cabin in Colorado. And guess what? They returned to the same spot a year later to say their “I dos.”
