Wonders shall never end, and guess where it happens? At the Calabar Highways this morning.
We were riding this morning at about 7:50am when we saw people gathering around the popular Culvert Bus Stop adjacent to Ikot Ansa Bus stop, Murtala Mohammed Highway, Calabar. So, one of our correspondent chips in to see what’s happening. It’s a man of about 40-60 years old sleeping naked by the roadside closed to a big Culvert.
Shimmering some incantation words out his mouth, lying in array of a flying bird been struck by a warping stick. But, we could barely understand his words. Only to notice blood spots on his face including his lips.
One of the women spoke with our correspondent in shocking demise that, she was preparing to bath that morning around 4:00am so she could dress up for work, but it was shocking when she saw a big kite-like object striking the back of her house making a huge noise. For security reasons, she had to reach out for the clue, but what she found was horrible.
She continued, the man’s face was pale and threatening, so she ask with a calm voice, who are you? Immediately the man drool a huge lump of saliva which almost splash her, but she was lucky it didn’t. She have to yell for people as she even noticed he was naked.
When neighbors and passerby came, they started interrogating the man threatening to kill him. Then, few persons among the crowd recognized the man, while others added his wife died few months ago. And that he’s lost all his children too. But, he doesn’t stay at that environment but a distance of about a mile apart.
After all the beatings, they now pushed him to the Highways, threatening to burn him alive if he doesn’t say what brought him there.
Then, he started confessing:
“I killed my wife, children and many other people using witchcraft. And I came her looking for whom to devour” he said.
