Football fans were surprised to spot Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the stands at Molineux during Wolves’ clash with Ipswich Town.
The Norwegian manager has been out of the spotlight since leaving Manchester United three years ago, and his unexpected appearance at a Premier League game quickly sparked speculation.
Wolves, sitting in the relegation zone, are under pressure to turn their season around.
Current manager Gary O’Neil has struggled to deliver promising results, leading some fans to believe Solskjaer’s presence could signal managerial changes at the club.

Despite Wolves’ plight, the visitors Ipswich, managed by Solskjaer’s former United colleague Kieran McKenna, have been battling to climb out of danger themselves.
The game itself delivered plenty of drama, with Ipswich eventually edging out Wolves in a tense 2-1 victory.
An own goal by Matt Doherty put Ipswich ahead before Matheus Cunha’s equalizer revived Wolves’ hopes.
However, a late header by Jack Taylor sealed the win for Ipswich, leaving both sides embroiled in a tight relegation fight.
But Solskjaer’s presence at the game had nothing to do with Wolves’ managerial situation.

According to The Athletic’s Andy Mitten via Metro, Solskjaer had been planning this trip to England for some time.
The former Manchester United manager was at Molineux to support his son, a passionate Ipswich Town fan.
Additionally, Solskjaer’s visit provided an opportunity to catch up with McKenna, further confirming his trip was personal, not professional.
Ipswich’s dramatic victory, with Solskjaer watching from the stands, will surely be a memorable moment for his family.
But for Wolves and O’Neil, the pressure continues to mount as the relegation battle heats up.
