Since the departure of Erik ten Hag, Amad Diallo has emerged as one of Manchester United’s most important players.
After an impressive start under Ruben Amorim, Amad was unexpectedly dropped for the match against Arsenal.
Though he has been playing as a right wing-back, Diogo Dalot was chosen to start against Arsenal instead.
Amad came on at halftime with the aim of adding attacking impetus.
He looked sharp, pressing high and displaying his quick feet, but he didn’t see enough of the ball to make a significant impact.
With Ruben Amorim singing his praises and a potential new contract on the horizon, the question remains: why must Amorim prioritize Amad as a key figure in Manchester United’s future?
