Manchester United are desperate to sign a prolific striker in the summer after a year of poor results causing the club to struggle in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
With Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee failing to provide consistency and reliability in front of goal, The Red Devils need a sure-fire striker to strengthen their attack for next season.
As such, a shortlist of Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, Hugo Ekitike and Jonathan David has been developed by United’s recruitment team, which we’ll be looking at to see who should be the priority signing this summer.
Whilst all of these strikers are having impressive seasons, there are more factors to consider than just their goal contributions.
Many players who have performed well on the continent have failed when trying to assert themselves in the Premier League, so we’ll be considering their adaptability to life at United.
Alongside this we’ll also be considering their age, transfer fees, how likely they are to leave their current club.
