WhatsApp new feature rolled out: You can now add up to 512 participants in a group

WhatsApp group members limit increased

The feature is now available on WhatsApp version 2.22.11.75 for iOS and version 2.22.12.77 for Android. This means that users with this WhatsApp version on their respected platform can now add up to 512 members to a group chat. As mentioned earlier, it was previously limited to 256 members. While this might seem a huge number of members for a group, it is nowhere near to Telegram’s 200,000 members limit in a single group chat.

WhatsApp

To get the latest 512 members group chat feature, make sure you’re using the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS or Android on your Google Play Store or App Store. To check if the feature is available for you, simply create a group and see how many member options you get.

WhatsApp is also working on a message edit feature, undo option for deleted chats and double OTPs for logging into the new handset. If you’re curious about these features click on the link of the interested feature to learn more.
