What the spectators see during the King of Iron Fist Tournament in Tekken 8 but this time with better seats

About a week ago, someone posted an interesting clip that demonstrated what it would be like to spectate the King of the Iron Fist Tournament play out in the world of Tekken. Of course, we were put in the point of view of a spectator that didn’t have the best of seats.

Yanos626 has returned with another clip featuring an actual match. This time, the spectators actually managed to get front row seats at the Arena stage.

The round seen in the clip is from an online replay in which a Tekken God ranked Jin player goes up against a Tekken God Supreme Lee user. As expected, the higher ranked player between the two is shown to have quite the edge in this match up.

According to Yanos626, the crowd noises heard in this scene have been taken from Evo and other Tekken events within the fighting game community. Whenever Lee is able to land a launcher, the audience can be heard chanting “Aye!” which is similar to chants that occur when Yun or Yang is able to get their super combos going in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

As mentioned before, the spectator has a much better view of the action as it happens. Of course, Yanos626 makes it a point that the spectator is still within the audience as the camera shifts at one point in the round, showing others cheering nearby.

It ends up being a pretty climactic scene. This type of view might actually be worth purchasing tickets for as opposed to the stadium view we saw last time.
