Manchester United face West Ham at the London Stadium tomorrow, with both teams in unenviable positions.
United sit 13th in the Premier League, while the Hammers are three places behind in 16th.
Erik ten Hag and Julen Lopetegui are both near the top of the bookmakers’ lists for which manager will be sacked next in the 2024-25 season.
United are seeking consecutive wins in the league for the first time this season.
Ten Hag’s men have received a boost in this venture, with two key West Ham attackers set to miss the affair tomorrow.

Mohammed Kudus begins his three-game suspension, after being sent off for violent conduct last week against Spurs.
West Ham lost 4-1 and Kudus received a red card towards the end of the game after striking two Spurs players in the face.
United will be grateful that they do not have to face Kudus, as he is one of West Ham’s best players.
He scored a stunning goal against the Red Devils last season, when West Ham won 2-0 at home in December 2023.
In Kudus’ absence, Crysencio Summerville is expected to fill in for him on the left flank.

The other absentee for the Irons is summer signing Niclas Fullkrug.
He is managing a calf injury, meaning Michail Antonio is likely to start up front.
While Fullkrug is yet to get off the mark for West Ham, his absence will not help them.
Manchester United are also expected to have injury issues, with multiple stars set to miss the clash.
Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire, Mason Mount and Antony will not be available.
Meanwhile, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are all battling long-term injuries and are still yet to play this season.
