Responsibilities
- Write efficient code
- Create websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Work closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website
- Plan and deliver software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe
- Research different software programs, keep records of software documentation
Requirements & Skills
- Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience and use of word press. top-notch programming skill and in-depth knowledge of modern html/css
- a solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, java, asp, asp.Net
- experience with database systems such as sql and oracle
- basic knowledge of search engine optimisation process
- adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object oriented programming and web application development
- server architecture
