Capcom kicked off their latest major collaboration for Street Fighter 6 earlier this week by adding additional content to the game that centers around the popular manga/anime series, Spy x Family. Though many of us expected it, fans were still quite disappointed to see that this crossover didn’t include an actual costume for Chun-Li that turned her into Yor Forger — the wife / assassin from Spy x Family.
While Yor and Chun-Li share a lot of similarities and a proper costume for Chun makes a ton of sense, a PC modder recently showed us that there is actually another surprisingly great match for Yor in Street Fighter 6. This new mod gives the sought after Yor outfit to DLC character A.K.I. instead, and she actually looks incredible in it.
This beautiful mod comes from the mind of Remy2FANG. With it, A.K.I. gets the full Thorn Princess treatment, which involves her wearing Yor’s trademark dress and taking on her hairstyle as well.
What’s funny is that Yor and A.K.I. actually share the fact that they’re both assassins, though Yor is very secretive about it while A.K.I. lets her sinister intentions be known up front.
The modder has shared a quick clip of the mod in action over on Twitter, giving us a look at the outfit from different angles thanks to it being shown on the character select screen, during the walk out, with the Game Faces feature, and finally at the start of the round. A.K.I. really does look amazing here, and maybe it’s just because her default hairdo is a little strange (though I’m a fan of it), but Yor’s hairstyle really seems to suit A.K.I. exceptionally well.
All of that having been said, there also appears to be a version of this mod that gives A.K.I. Yor’s outfit, but allows her to retain her normal wacky hairstyle.
