Job Duties
Installing, configuring, and maintaining our VMware and Veeam infrastructure.
Implementing monitoring systems to track the health of our infrastructure and systems.
Ensuring high availability and reliability of all systems in our infrastructure.
Maintain related documentation.
Engaging with new and existing clients to ensure seamless onboarding and effective use of our infrastructure.
And any other reasonable task
Requirements
VCP certification or relevant working experience
Certified or solid experience working with Veeam Backup and Replication software
Experience working with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, MSSQL within the VMWare/Veeam ecosystem
Understanding of networking and SAN in a server environment
Excellent Troubleshooting Skills.
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application,
Solid understanding of security related to encryption, certificates, and patch management.
Proficiency with source-control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
An understanding of deployment tools such as Chef and/or Ansible is advantageous,
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment.
Familiar with monitoring systems/tools e.g Netdata, Zabbix and Iris
Server hardware experience.
