Silva Mexes has had quite the summer.
The 14-year-old officially joined Manchester United in May and has already made himself at home in Manchester.
Robert Earnshaw’s son came into United with a lot of fanfare due to his father’s football past.
But young Mexes is looking to create some of his own legacy and is seemingly taking some steps towards doing just that.

Silva Mexes has this week been part of a Manchester United under-15s squad playing in the Elite Cup.
Hosted at the FC Bayern Campus, the competition brings together under-15 sides from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
United were joined by the likes of Liverpool, Inter Milan, Porto and, of course, Bayern Munich.
In a game against Bayern’s under-15s, Mexes scored an absolute worldie.
Running onto a ball over the top, the forward lobs it over the onrushing goalkeeper.
That was just the first player he got past.

In a piece of skill reminiscent of Paul Gascoigne’s goal against Scotland in UEFA Euro 1996, Mexes then flicks it off the top of a defender looking to get back for cover.
Finally, with the keeper now rushing to make up lost ground, Mexes chests the ball down and lobs it over the head of a defender getting onto the goal line.
It was truly a top class goal.
If Silva Mexes scores more goals like that, then he’s going to go a long way in his career.
Even if he doesn’t ever repeat a goal like that again, he’s shown that he has the skill to succeed in the game.
Manchester United fans will be keeping a close eye on his development in the near future.
Because there’s a star in the making on their books, if the club handle his progress properly.
