Job Summary:
As a Video Content Editor, you will focus on two key areas:
Course Video Content: These videos need to be clear, highly informative and meet the established quality-standard. Some of these videos are sponsored so they also need to bring conversion. You will work alongside a team that is also editing the different courses simultaneously in a structured and multi-phased editing organization.
Marketing Content: Create short, compelling video content for platforms like X, Instagram, and Facebook to promote our courses and drive sign-ups. These videos should be attention-grabbing, dynamic, and aligned with our brand's voice.
You will work closely with our Content Producer to ensure all video content is high-quality, engaging, and meets our brand standards.
Responsibilities:
Create and edit engaging, informative and high-conversion video content that can be adapted to all of our marketing channels, with a focus on our Twitter channel; as well as Instagram, Facebook & YouTube (to be used during live shows) in order to bring Sign Ups to our courses.
Edit and produce long-form course video content that is educational, engaging, and polished, working closely with a team of editors and animators on collaborative projects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in marketing and content creation, and use that knowledge to improve our content and marketing strategies.
Ensure that all content produced is of the highest quality and aligns with the Crypto School brand and messaging.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that content produced aligns with the overall goals and objectives of the company (Marketing, Design, Sponsorships).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field would be advantageous.
3+ years of experience in content creation and editing, preferably in the digital marketing or cryptocurrency industries.
Strong storytelling skills and ability to find narratives in order to create compelling video content.
Sound mixing/Mastering skills in order to assure high quality sound.
Be familiarized with social media content and its best practices for driving user acquisition and engagement, as well as other social media types of content (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries.
Strong know-how with Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
