The love four old women have for legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady is at the heart of an upcoming comedy from Paramount Pictures called “80 For Brady,” which released its first trailer Thursday.

Apparently inspired by a true story, the film casts Lily Tomlin, Rita Moreno, Sally Field and Jane Fonda as elderly Brady superfans adventuring to Houston, Texas for the 2017 Super Bowl.

That game is a central pillar in the legend of Brady, widely considered to be the best quarterback in NFL history. In that game, Brady’s New England Patriots made a stunning comeback from a 28-3 deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons by six points.

The four actresses are age-appropriate: Field is 76, Fonda is 84, Moreno is 90, and Tomlin is 83.

Their travels take them to the tailgate outside the stadium, where a scalper tries to gouge them for tickets, and Field enters a spicy wings challenge hosted by food celebrity Guy Fieri in an attempt to win what they can’t afford.

Fonda even makes it into the locker room, where she stares longingly up at tight end Rob Gronkowski and can only manage to say, “So big.” Later at a party, Moreno accidentally takes a spiked drink and sees Fieri’s goateed face on everyone – including herself.

The film is set to be released in theaters Feb. 3.

Brady is involved both as a producer and an actor playing himself. Other NFL cameos include wide receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, who both played on the Patriots that year.

The quarterback told Variety that his role in the film is “small” and took two days to film, but shared some thoughts on the process.

“What I’ve done for 23 years in sports is play myself. There’s no acting. It’s me on the field,” he said. “So when I got to go play a role, I have no programming for that. There’s not a lot of experiences to fall back on other than a few commercials that I’ve done.”

In April he posted a group photo with the quartet of stars on Instagram, commenting: “So grateful for these legendary women and the entire team that’s working to bring this story to life. How many times do you think I had to call for my lines?”
