As a Vendor Associate, you play a crucial role in enhancing our vendor partnerships and contributing to the success of the company.

Job Responsibilities

As a Vendor Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties

Vendor Identification

Actively research and identify potential vendors in alignment with our platform's vision and customer demands.

Outreach and Communication

Initiate contact with potential vendors, effectively communicate the benefits of partnering with our marketplace, and address any queries they may have. You will serve as the point of contact for vendors, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a positive partnership experience.

Negotiation

Collaborate with vendors to negotiate terms, including commission rates, product listings, and any other relevant agreements.

Onboarding

Guide vendors through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Relationship Management

Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, serving as the main point of contact for any concerns or inquiries. You will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing vendors.

Market Insights

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, industry developments, and customer preferences to provide valuable insights for business growth.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Vendor Management or related field.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Proficiency in using collaboration tools such as Spreadsheets, Google Workspace, and other relevant software.
Proactive approach, anticipating vendor needs and addressing potential issues before they escalate.
Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting and leveraging data to drive informed decisions.
Ability to adapt quickly to industry changes and learn new concepts.
Must be Results-oriented, and able to make informed decisions promptly.
Must be an empathetic listener with a keen attention to detail.
